About the adventure
Victorian London, 1887 but not as you've read about it. This is a SteamPunk version of the city, looser and bolder than the stiff upper lip you might expect. You'll solve murder mysteries, uncover Mythos events, and in doing so find a deeper plot unfolding across every walk of life. Your heroes will be bold characters in the mould of 'Penny Dreadful' or 'The Nevers'. Walking the streets alongside you: fictional figures like Captain Nemo, Dr Jekyll, and Dorian Gray. A medium-paced campaign blending pre-written adventures with sandbox play, using the new Cthulhu by Gaslight and the Pulp rules. For players who love roleplay, atmosphere, and horror that gets under your skin. • Ashes to Ashes • Oranges & Lemons • Signs Writ in Scarlet • The Forbes Masterworks

About me
Hey there, I'm known as Japes (jay~ps). I caught the bug with D&D as a kid and have never recovered. These days I GM online and several players of my first online games, I'm lucky enough to still game with today. My favourite part of these games, is having a diverse mix of players from around the world, at the table. I've been GMing long enough to know one thing: these games are best when everyone's having fun together. I make sure every table I run a safe, creative space, and all I ask is that we're courteous to each other whether you're playing a 1920s FBI agent hunting Cthulhu Mythos monsters, a piece of Sapient Pearwood in Discworld, or a Fairy Seraph growling at enemies as you fly over the wizard's head in Daggerheart. Playing these characters is exactly why we're here. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
• No experience needed and I’ll enjoy helping you learn to play Call of Cthulhu. • You should have a desire to be cooperative and roleplay your character. • No need to use a ‘character voice’, and yet this is a safe place to try it out. Equipment • Reliable PC, with a Chromium browser. • Working gaming headset or mic and headphones. • Webcam is highly recommended. • Free accounts for systems in use, links provided after joining.
What Japes brings to the table
• I’ll bring some voices for those NPCs. • Maps, background music and many great features of Foundry. • Weaving your characters backstory into the adventure. • I'm open to feedback and use that to improve your game. • The game will be flexible, as your choices can adapt the games direction.
