About the adventure
For over sixty years, the world has known peace. Since the fall of Muzan Kibutsuji, demons have faded into myth, and the Demon Slayer Corps has long since vanished. Their techniques are forgotten, their history reduced to whispers and half-believed stories. But peace was never permanent. In the year 1981, strange disappearances begin to surface across Japan. Entire families vanish overnight. Witnesses speak of figures who walk beneath the sun… and smile as they feed. A new Demon Lord has risen—Minamoto Renji, a being who has perfected what once was flawed. No longer bound by the weaknesses of the past, his demons are refined predators evolving, adapting, and spreading with terrifying precision. At his side stands the Shisei, an inner circle of semi-perfected demons who embody stages of evolution beyond humanity. Among them, the First Seat, Shinomura Kaito moves with unsettling grace, a chilling imitation of the perfection he so desperately seeks to become.

About me
What’s up everyone! My name is Nick and I’m a long time player and have been DMing for about 3 years. I currently am running 4 campaigns, all of which are very different. I started playing in a friend’s garage during 2E with physical books and just having a great time. Since then my experience has grown along with the game! I’m currently a big fan of 5.5 and the things it’s added to modern DnD experience. Creating your character
Character creation is a collaborative process and will be handled together before the campaign begins. Because this game features custom Demon Slayer inspired breathing styles and subclasses, I will work directly with each player to build a character that fits both the setting and your playstyle. Characters will start at level 3 allowing access to your breathing techniques and subclass features right away. Ability scores will be decided using Point Buy to keep things balanced across the table. There will be no full caster classes as magic is not prevalent in this setting. Half casters could work depending on Breathing Style but pure Martials will be the standard for majority of classes.

I run cinematic, combat-focused games with a strong emphasis on tension, pacing, and meaningful choices. Expect tactical encounters where positioning and teamwork matter, alongside immersive descriptions, ambient music, and distinct NPCs to bring the world to life. Your decisions will have real consequences, and the story will evolve based on your actions. I generally follow Rules as Written for consistency and balance, but I’m always open to Rule of Cool moments when they enhance the experience. My goal is to create a game that feels challenging, rewarding, and fully immersive—where you can play creatively while still engaging with solid, well-structured mechanics.
