About the adventure
Long ago, a proud fortress was swallowed by the earth, its towers shattered and its halls buried in darkness. Now the Sunless Citadel festers beneath the surface, home to monsters and creeping shadows that consume any who dare trespass within its ancient stone corridors. What was once a bastion of strength has become a grave for the reckless and the unprepared. Among the latest to vanish are Sharwyn and Talgen Hucrele, children of a prominent local noble. A generous reward has been offered for their safe return or failing that, for proof of their fate. Drawn by gold, glory, or the lure of secrets that hint at immortality and forbidden powers buried in the dark, you now travel the road toward the nearby town of Oakheart, where this ill fated tale began… and where your descent into the unknown awaits.
