About the adventure

Absalom, the City at the Center of the World, heart of the Isle of Kortos. Since the living god Aroden founded it nearly five thousand years ago, people have proudly called this metropolis the crown jewel of the Inner Sea. Now, it is the year of the Radiant Festival, a once-in-a-lifetime celebration that has drawn visitors to Absalom from around the globe. But not all who wander the boardwalks and alleyways of Absalom have good intentions. Absalom's sickest serial killers, brashest bank robbers, and cruelest criminal masterminds have set their sights on a distracted populace. After a string of seemingly unrelated crimes is revealed as part of a much larger criminal plot, the members of one select squad find themselves at the center of things and must put their badges on the line to prevent the city from falling into chaos. To guard Absalom from certain danger, our band of heroes must uncover the city's deepest secrets, scour its streets for clues, and take down its most dangerous criminal masterminds. For the safety of the many a few will risk it all. The Agents of Edgewatch.

About me

Hi there, my names Adam, an experienced player and runner of TTRPG games. I've been a music and theater student with a love for animals for all my life, so I put in lots of effort to make excellent storytelling for my players, along with lots of time spent designing fun creatures. My favorite monster in TTRPG's are dragons, I enjoy getting to know my players before doing games with them, and making sure they are having fun alongside me. I've been playing TTRPG's for 12 years, GM'ing for 10 of them, with the last 9 of those years being through digital platforms like Roll20, having helped out in multiple west marches during those times. I have professionally GM'd an event at Pax Unplugged, and am happy to run for small groups and large groups alike.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation will be occuring during the first session, as we make a ragtag band of fresh edgewatch rookies in the city of Absalom, ready to prove themselves in a whirlwind adventure that will take them through all the dark secrets of the criminal underworld, as they uncover and stop a plot that threatens the lives of everyone in the entire city. We will be using Ancestry Paragon as well as Free Archetype in this game.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players are expected to have a Discord, and Roll20 account at a minimum. Demiplane serves as an incredibly helpful tool in both character creation, and playing the game. Be prepared to have an open mind when working and playing together.

What Adam Moore brings to the table

Expect background music, alongside some occassionally silly to serious attempts at voice acting. I will be providing maps throughout the campaign, as well as assistance throughout the character creation process.

Safety

How Adam Moore creates a safe table

Session 0 will be spent both Party building, as well as going over players Lines and veils, so that we're able to effectively communicate, and have fun together. Because if folks aren't having fun, it defeats the #1 purpose of any rpg.
