About me
Looking for the low-level to high-level campaign that you've never been able to complete? Hi! My name is Eli and I'm a professional dungeon master. I run long-term campaigns with a heavy emphasis on roleplay and challenging combat. I like games where you really get to know your character and the world around you, but also feel powerful and engaged when swords flash and magic erupts. My preferred system is Pathfinder 2e, but most of my experience is with Pathfinder 1e and D&D 5th edition. I currently live in South Carolina, USA. I also put a focus on memorable NPCs -- people with distinctive voices built by their background and worldview. That goes double for antagonists; you will love to hate the enemies that stand in your way. But the game is about your characters. Every game that I GM should feel like the characters already live in the world and their background has affected how the world reacts to them. Even in pre-published adventures, your character changes everything. And I always place player enjoyment first. This is your game: you should feel empowered, included and accepted no matter who you are. So, what do you say? Want to go on an adventure?

Creating your character
Character creation will happen during session zero. All official Paizo books are clear to use. If anyone has any questions about something they want to include, please ask.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
When you sign up, you will be given a link to the Discord server. Once in the server, you will also be given a link to the Player's Guide for this adventure. We will be using Forge VTT for this campaign. Please make sure you have a free account. An invitation to the Forge will be provided in Discord. Any players who wish to bounce ideas about characters they want to play can freely send me messages in Discord regarding whether those characters will be allowed, but final decisions should be made during Session Zero.
What Elijah brings to the table
I am always a GM that is player-first. This is your story and you should feel in control of it. With that being said, I am very roleplay focused. I do voices for NPCs, but do not expect voices from my players. I am not an encyclopedia of knowledge about the Pathfinder 2E system, but I am well-versed enough to conquer any problem we encounter in game. I value immersion including curated music and sound effects for both exploration and combat modes of play. When we reach the kingdom building section of the campaign, we will have a discussion regarding how in-depth everyone wants to delve into the kingdom building rules.
Homebrew rules
We will likely be using Free Archetype and Gradual Ability Boost. This will be cleared during session zero. When we reach kingdom building, we will discuss how in-depth we would like the kingdom building to be.

How Elijah creates a safe table
When you join the game, you will be sent a copy of the consent checklist to be filled out and sent back. This is only to gauge what content you would like to be in the game and what needs to be left out. If I have any questions, I will send them to you privately. During session zero, we will generally discuss what items will be on the lines and veils list based on these lists and anything further can be brought up during session zero or in the game using the X card.
