About the adventure

In the realm of Dominon, the gates to the First World, the realm of the Fae, have long been closed. Barred from the inside, with the magics therein locked away. Until now, as gateways to the courts of the Fae open the world over. You all are adventurers tasked with entering one such gate and exploring the realms there beyond and their inhabitants. The realm of the Fae has been closed off from the material for thousands of years and it is unclear if those that wait within are friend or foe. Explore the fae wild, navigate the fae courts, and discover the secrets for the First World in a homebrew take on Pathfinder first edition complete with custom ancestries, gods, nations, and more!

About me

Hello! My name is Emily (they/them or she/her), I am a long-time TTRPG player and have been playing and running Pathfinder first edition games since 2012. I have a passion for creative writing and collaborative story telling, and love to share the tabletop experience with new friends and strangers alike. In my local scene, I help orchestrate Pathfinder Society organized play, with my local game store still running occasional first edition games. If I were to assign myself a player archetype, I would be somewhere between the Storyteller and the Power Gamer. I like my characters to have a niche, but highly effective build, or simply be incredibly good at what it is they do. I am naturally inclined towards Pathfinder 1e as opposed to DnD and its counterparts because it allows me and my players to do exactly that, identify your character's niche, and excel in it.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will utilize custom ancestries of my own design suited to the homebrew setting of Dominon, a high fantasy world akin to that of Golarion of the Forgotten Realms. Character will be created at level 2, and will be granted a number of bonus feats ala "Elephant in the Room".

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Join my discord and be prepared to discuss your character concepts! We will play on Roll20.

What Emily brings to the table

I endeavor to bring my players meaningful roleplay with characters that feel like the possess agency and motivation, challenging combat encounters, and the ability to shape the grander narrative of the campaign with their decisions as a party.

Homebrew rules

We use Elephant in the Room lite, a custom homebrew setting, unique ancestries (races) sutied to that setting, and I am open to 3rd party content and house ruled class abilities with deliberation.
