About the adventure
Edge of Darkness A Classic Call of Cthulhu Investigation of Guilt, Legacy, and the Occult You are summoned to the deathbed of Rupert Merriweather, a frail, regretful old man who, in his final hours, seeks to unburden his conscience. His voice trembles as he reveals a secret he and his friends have carried for over four decades—a secret that now threatens to break free of its shackles and bring ruin to the world. In the 1870s, Merriweather and a circle of youthful occult dabblers conducted a ritual at a secluded farmhouse outside Arkham. Their careless attempt to contact and bind a supernatural entity went horribly wrong. They succeeded in summoning something… but not in controlling it. Terrified by what they unleashed, the group managed to trap the entity within the farmhouse using arcane means. Believing it safely imprisoned, they sealed the property, swore never to return, and tried to forget what they had done. But evil does not sleep forever. Now, the wards holding the entity grow weak. Merriweather, consumed by guilt and fear, gives you a locked box containing a journal, ritual notes, and the deed to the long-abandoned farmhouse. He begs you to finish what he and his friends could not—to confront the evil they bound and see it ended, before it escapes and exacts vengeance upon the living. Your investigation begins with this simple bequest, but the path ahead is fraught with peril. As you uncover the truth behind the ritual, the occult, and the unnatural being locked within the farmhouse, you will be forced to question what is real—and what lies just beyond the veil of human understanding. This is a story of hubris and horror, of consequences that ripple across decades. The sins of the past have come due, and now it falls to you to put things right… or suffer the same fate as those who came before.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I was thirteen years old when I first rolled dice, at a game of Dungeons & Dragons using the AD&D 3.0 edition ruleset, the last TSR published rulebooks. My Dungeon Master days started when I was fifteen. Big fan of CRPGs: Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, Fallout, Neverwinter Nights, Temple of Elemental Evil, Pool of Radiance, Knights of the Old Republic, Gothic, Elder Scrolls, Solasta, Pillars of Eternity, Tyranny, Shadowrun, Call of Cthulhu and the list goes on, I love gaming! I have Game Master experience in a variety of systems, including (but not limited to) Dungeons & Dragons 3, 3.5, 4 and 5e, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars RPG (Saga, Revised, FFG), Pathfinder 1 & 2, Starfinder, Conan 2d20 (Modiphius), Fallout 2d20 (Modiphius), Vampire the Masquerade, Mage the Ascension, Dragonbane, ALIEN, Modern d20 / Everyday Heroes. Experience as a player includes Dungeons & Dragons 2nd, OSR (Sword and Wizardry), Warhammer Fantasy (FFG & Cubicle 7), Warhammer 40k (FFG & Cubicle 7), Shadowrun, Dresden Files RPG, Legend of the Five Rings, FATE, Savage Worlds, Fantasy AGE (Ashes of Valkana) Collaborations with well-known hobby stores in Athens, Greece organizing and holding events such as Adventurer’s League, D&D Encounters, Pathfinder Society and more! Volunteer work at non-profit organizations that I shall not name due to uber toxic and truly unnecessary competition as well as free loader mentality.
