About the adventure

### This Campaign is a child-safe game for ages 13-17 only, This has been set up for parents to know that players will be playing with their peers. As a university lecturer/academic I hold all the required government and legal checks to work with children and vulnerable people (able to be produced on request during session 0 for parents). ### This campaign is a character-driven journey through your studies at Strixhaven, where your choices (both in and out of the classroom) shape your story. Expect a blend of magical academia, social roleplay, light intrigue, and moments of high-stakes danger. Relationships matter here: the friends you make, the rivals you challenge, and the faculty you impress (or disappoint) will all influence how your story unfolds. My style leans into collaborative storytelling with a strong narrative focus. There will be structured encounters and clear progression, but the heart of the game lies in how your characters grow, interact, and respond to the world around them. Whether you're solving magical mysteries, navigating campus life, or pushing your abilities to their limits, your agency and creativity will always take center stage. This game is ideal for players who enjoy roleplay, character development, and being part of an evolving story. You don’t need to be an expert, new players are absolutely welcome, but a willingness to engage, contribute, and immerse yourself in the world will make the experience richer for everyone at the table.

About me

I have been adventuring in Dungeons & Dragons since 2007, guiding heroes through perilous dungeons, strange realms, and stories that linger long after the dice stop rolling. With nearly two decades at the table, I bring the instincts of a seasoned storyteller and the calm hand of a director shaping an unfolding narrative in real time. I began my adult life as a filmmaker, learning how to craft tension, pacing, character arcs, and cinematic moments. That background still shapes every session I run: battles feel dramatic, discoveries feel meaningful, and the world feels like a living story rather than a static game board. I have a PhD in the arts, deepening my understanding of narrative, performance, and collaborative creativity. The result is a style of Dungeon Mastering that blends theatrical storytelling, improvisation, and thoughtful worldbuilding with the unpredictability of the dice. Mechanics exist to support the story, not suffocate it. Clever ideas, bold risks, and heroic nonsense are welcome at his table. If a player comes up with something brilliant, absurd, or spectacular, chances are the answer will be yes. Whether you’re a brand-new adventurer or a veteran hero, mygames are designed to be welcoming, dramatic, and unforgettable.

What Brad brings to the table

I will provide a unique and guided experience, character creation, management, and leveling up will be done through narrative events. This game is perfect for people who want to develop a character and story as the game unfolds rather than building a character from options on character builders.
