About the adventure

A quiescent Quillionaire has quashed and quelled almost all his quarrels with the other favored felonious fowl families of the featherlands. Only you and your courageous clan of crooked capons can grab the gold from the gasbag gander! Using the Dukk Borg system you will make a clan and gather the information needed to infiltrate and steal as much as wealth as possible, and then leave. there are other factors at play, so beware of the stranger out to find you! Alternatively, if you find his number one coin, it is said to contain his heart. If destroyed he might be able to be defeated, and you and your family can take what is left of the kingdom! Dukk Borg is a fast paced and fun system in the Morkk Borg family of games, and provides all we need to have an amazing array of adventures! this intended to be a mini campaign lasting 4-5 adventures.

About me

I've been running and playing games for 35+ years, and prefer cinematic and fun stories versus full on combat focus and playing RAW. I started with games like Toon and Teenage Mutant turtle and Tunnels & Trolls, moved to GURPS, Earthdawn, Legend of the Five Rings, and 7th Sea in the 90's and up to mid 00's, and then Savage Worlds, FATE, and Indie RPGS after that. You will see cats in the background if I have my camera on! They have only knocked my laptop to the ground in a single game. Can you make my cat do it again? I like to make sure everyone gets a chance for the spotlight and to focus on the things they want their character engaged in. the games I run are co-op. not PVP as the fun you are having should not take away from the enjoyment of others. I see my job both as to weave the world around the characters actions which drive where the action goes. I love a good long campaign with a lot of character progression, but I also enjoy zany one shots where what happens after this one story does not matter. I really like having the NPCs having their own lives and personalities, and breathing life into them. a specialty of mine is often creating deep and distinct NPC's in a moments notice. I am more of a lenient GM than a strict one, and for the games that it fit's the scenario and world, making sure everyone has a pun-derful time. I don't like PVP combat, and will make that expectation known upfront. I am very new player friendly.

Character creation

Creating your character

They will be made in game, and creating your character typically only takes 5-10 minutes using the rules from the Dukk Borg system, with one free re -roll for a single attribute. The clan will be made during play too, all at starting level. If your character dies we can make a new one as soon as there is a natural stopping place, and there are narrative ways for them to join the rest of the crew quickly.

When making the party we can tailor it to what people want, including if you want to be specific types of things like ducks, and parodies of specific characters or completely original creations.

I will provide the rules, witty wordplay that never wanes, voices, some illustrations and this will be played more rule of cool then Rules as written. if your idea is clever enough or your pun painful enough, your are more likely to succeed. This will not be a player vs player game, as the entire rest of the world is out to get you! Danger might be right behind you! Beware of the stranger out to find you!

Homebrew rules

Outside of character creation, and occasionally allowing a re roll, there are not any current house rules. If something is funny enough in play, it could become one.
