About the adventure
For as long as anyone can remember, the town of Remisa has stood apart from the rest of the world. Encircled by a vast and ancient forest, Remisa has always been a place of quiet prosperity. The weather is gentle, the soil rich, and the surrounding lands teem with game. Humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, and stranger folk have lived together here for generations, building a community where hard work and cooperation are the foundation of life. Remisa has never needed much in the way of laws. Over the centuries, rules have been written and forgotten, customs have changed, and leaders have come and gone. But one rule has never changed. One rule every child learns before they can read. Never pass through the woods to the other side. No one remembers why the rule exists. Only that it has always been obeyed. Until tonight. Without warning, the thunder of hooves shattered the peace of Remisa. Raiders—dozens of them—burst from the darkness beyond the fields. Mounted warriors clad in iron and leather swept through the town like a storm. Torches were thrown. Steel flashed. Homes burned as screams filled the night. Some fought and fell. Some were dragged away in chains. And some ran. With the town overrun and the roads cut off, the survivors fled toward the only place left. The forest. Now the flames of Remisa burn behind you, and the dark trees loom ahead. But tonight, the old rule has already been broken. Not by Remisa's people but by strangers in the dark. How did this happen? Why were you attacked? What had changed?

About me
Greetings, adventurers! I invite you to join me in exploring new worlds, unforgettable stories, and the boundless creativity that tabletop role-playing games have to offer. With nearly 40 years of experience, my journey began with the classic Basic Dungeons & Dragons red box. Reading it on the playground and after school opened my mind to the limitless creativity that TTRPGs can offer—and taught me early on that having only 1d4 hit points builds character… one way or another and THAC0 isn't a extra thick taco. Since then, I’ve immersed myself in a wide range of systems, most often serving as Game Master, Storyteller, or Dungeon Master. While I guide the world, my greatest enjoyment comes from watching players bring their characters to life and shape the story in meaningful ways. At my table, the priority is simple: everyone has fun and feels welcome. I strive to create a comfortable, inclusive environment where every player has the confidence to contribute, take risks, and tell an incredible story. Rules matter, but a great story and a great time matter more. As I begin my journey into the online TTRPG space, I bring both experience and a commitment to growth. I actively welcome feedback and continuously refine my approach to ensure the best possible experience for everyone at the table. Whether you’re a seasoned hero or taking your first step into role-playing, you’re invited to join me. Let’s craft unforgettable tales, share a few laughs, and create something truly special together.

What to expect
Preparing for the session
If you haven't, make a free Dndbeyond account. I will provide a link to the campaign and discord servers
What Ravencredible brings to the table
Music will be used for background and key moments for characters. I will always attempt accents (but 99% they will slip into a southern drawl).
Homebrew rules
Not so much a homebrew, but I keep combat pretty light and fast. I rarely utilize maps, and focus on Theater of the Mind.
