About the adventure
This is a custom Dungeons & Dragons 5e (2014 rules) adventure where the story is shaped around the characters and themes the players want to explore. Instead of a fixed campaign with a predetermined plot, this game is built collaboratively during session zero. Whether you want heroic fantasy, dark intrigue, political drama, dungeon delving, exploration, or something stranger, the world and story will grow around the ideas the group finds exciting. Perhaps you'll form a band of mercenaries navigating the politics of warring kingdoms, explorers charting forgotten ruins in a dangerous frontier, or unlikely heroes standing against an ancient evil awakening beneath the world. The tone can range from classic heroic fantasy to grim and dangerous adventures depending on the group’s preferences. This game focuses on character-driven storytelling, meaningful choices, and immersive roleplay, while still keeping plenty of room for exciting combat, puzzles, and exploration. Player backstories matter and will actively shape the direction of the campaign. Both new and experienced players are welcome. Pleasure to have you look me over! I am Oliver and I am a 26 year old DM with just about 11 years of DM experience behind me. I have played and run many systems which include but are not limited to Dnd 3.5, 5e, Pathfinder 1e, and 2e, VTM Revised, V20, as well as Cyberpunk Red. Creating your character
We'll follow basic character creation rules unless the players want something specific. Such things can include, hardcore rules, rolling for stats, gestalt, or similar alternate rule sets.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You need a discord account, a microphone, perhaps an account of forge, and a go to attitude. When you join the game, please add me on discord at the profile mentioned in the prep material. From there you will be added to a server I use to run my games. All the rest will be provided for you!
