About the adventure
Fifteen years after the fall of the old regime, the galaxy is trying to stitch itself back together, but something out in the frontier is making planets bleed. In the shadows of reconstruction brutal, surgical raids sweep across the Outer Rim; whole worlds are stripped of resources, gear, and secrets before anyone can mount a proper response. A force calling itself the Coalition of Az-Kin'tith picks isolated systems clean with frightening precision. Sightings are rare, survivor stories are scarce, and the intelligence stream is just full of enough holes that smugglers, mercs, and thrill-seekers try to bring back any information worth a credit or two. Nobody truly knows what they are, and that seems to be the point: the strangest and most dangerous things like to hide behind the empty spaces of rumor. I personally like to play a little loose with the rules (rule of cool and all that), but I will make use of them to the best of my knowledge. I always want my players to have fun. If a rule gets bent here and there it's fine with me. Within this campaign, you will be answering calls from desperate governors, stretched-thin New Republic officers, and maybe a few shadowy Imperial agents. This game is for players who like a mix of fast, tactical firefights, slow-burn mysteries, and roleplay opportunities.

About me
Hello! My internet handel is Zantilis but my name is Branden. I'm 36 years old and have been playing dnd since I was a kid. My grandfather was my first gm and we played second edition with myself and my mom as players. Funnily enough in each game I dm or gm I usually have a small Easter egg of my mom and grandpa in the game, usually they're merchants of some kind. Speaking of dming; I have been a dm since 2006 and have run numerous games set in the same world. I usually have at least 3 players in a group or at max 6 people. My experience with tabletop games is varied. I have experience with: pathfinder 1st edition, dnd 2nd edition, 3rd edition, 4th edition, 5th edition, fallout 2d20, The alien rpg system, star wars 5e, and fantasy flights star wars rpg. If there's a system my players want to play that I don't have experience with, I will go out and learn the system for the players benefit because we're all here to enjoy a fun and exciting game.

Creating your character
We will handle character creation during the free session zero. Stats will be decided by rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest. Characters will be created over on roll20.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Be prepared to make heavy use of sw5e as a resource. https://sw5e.com/ is an amazing resource and contains all of the needed knowledge we will use. Have a free roll20 account and access to discord for both maps and voice respectively.
What Branden brings to the table
will bring my 20+ years of dnd knowledge to our virtual table. I will also bring my sub-par voice acting and boundless enthusiasm for ttrpgs. All I ask that you bring is your sense of wonder, and heroic nature.
Homebrew rules
SO a few of my homebrew rules are as follows: 1.Drinking a potion is a bonus action. 2. Applying a potion to someone else takes a full action. 3. For crits: you automatically add the full damage dice damage then roll normally. E.G., the longsword crits so you deal 8 damage off the bat, then you would roll 1d8+str mod (8+1d8+str mod), 4. The crit system also applies to enemies. 5. If you use flanking for advantage, the enemy will as well.

Safety
How Branden creates a safe table
After each session, I tend to ask the players how they felt about the session. I will always make sure the game is a safe space for everyone involved. If something comes up during the session that's a big no-no, I will reverse to just before it and circumvent it to provide a better gaming experience. No one wants to be uncomfortable while playing at the table.
