About the adventure
Vanaheim has always been a world of extremes. Churning volcanoes, vast frozen wastes, endless deserts with sands that shred like powdered glass. To live here is to know hardship and strife, with your survival sometimes dependant on whoever is standing beside you in the moment. But life in Vanaheim also breeds beauty, community, and wonder. A landscape speckled with gemstones as far as the eye can see causes the ground itself to sparkle underneath a sky so full and alive you'd swear you could reach out and touch it. Wilderness and wildlife thrive abundant and unfettered, wandered by countless nomadic peoples who are strong, proud, and kindly more often than not. Your story will reflect these extremes, beginning a humble settlement known as Roux and ending on a scale that... well, I suppose that's for you to decide. NOTE: This is a Play-by-post game which takes place in a private Discord server on an open basis, meaning the game will be accessible at any time. Players will be charged $5 per week, with the exception of the first week/Session 0. As your GM, I will be attentive of the game throughout the week, as well as have dedicated periods where the game is my primary focus. This game will include a maximum of 6 players, and needs at least 4 in order to run. CONTENT WARNING: This game will Definitely include the following themes: body horror, psychological horror/manipulation, mind control, gore, and violence. About me
I am a long-time writer and text-based roleplayer with a descriptive style and a love of the unexpected. I like to create memorable moments for my players so that each person has the chance to feel like the legendary hero we all want to be. I'm in my mid-30's, prefer high fantasy settings, and love throwing my own homebrews into the mix to keep things fresh and exciting.

Creating your character
All character creation will be done using DnDBeyond, with content sharing provided by the DM. Outside and homebrew content are also permitted, pending approval. The first week of the game will be mostly spent as a Session 0, finalizing characters and their relationships with one another, and clarifying any questions or concerns players might have. Full character creation details will be provided upon acceptance to the game, but don't be afraid to start building now.
The party will be starting as simple small business owners in the subterranean settlement of Gal Doran where you were born and raised. Baker or butcher, scrivener or smith, you're just simple folk from a simple place living a simple life. Be sure to keep this in mind during character creation.

Preparing for the session
This will be a PbP game run in a private Discord server, using DnDBeyond for characters sheets and VTT. Players will need accounts for both in order to take part.
What T. W. brings to the table
What I bring to the table as a GM is nearly 15 years of fantasy writing experience, a multitude of homebrew content, and a love for seeing players come up with the most out of this world ideas I have ever heard. While I like to stick to RAW for the sake of simplicity, the Rule Of Cool can always be invoked. If the logic of the intent is sound, then we let the dice decide.
