About the adventure

It’s been two years since the Exodus. There were no signs, nothing said; the gods simply left. In two years the world of Neshira has fallen into chaos. Countries have fallen, royal lines ended and persecution of the faithful is widespread. Caspia was ruled by the beloved House Radiant. Gifted divine blood by the sun god Lugh, they were the custodians of both his faith and people. With the strength of sorcerous blood they worked wonders, protecting Caspia for centuries. When the gods left, so did their gifts. No longer did crops grow. No longer were the people spared disease or suffering. Clerics of the faith found themselves void of light and as panic spread, The Guilds laid blame upon the House Radiant. Turmoil spilled into the streets and the Mornguard slew those they'd sworn to protect. Among the first was Ichabod Thorne, a Guild Mage and secretly, necromancer. Rising from the ashes as the first Lich of this new age, he brought forth a horde of undeath, laying waste to the Mornguard and raising them in service of the revolution. Soldiers grow tired but the dead only rot. Now two years after The Exodus, the House Radiant is believed to be extinct while Thorne and The Guilds rule from the capitol. Disease and famine consume the land and The Guilds reap this pestilent harvest for fresh servants. Those of faith are hunted and their deaths made spectacle in public executions, their bodies resurrected to slay the next. Set in the Gothic world of Neshira, a world abandoned by the gods you will play survivors and wayfarers as you travel the festering domain of New Caspia, where undeath is the mark of nobility and the stench of death chokes the countryside. What forces have brought you to this realm? Will you find light in the darkness? What does faith mean in a world abandoned by divinity? In this long term, roleplay focused campaign players can answer these questions and interact with newly rising factions as they wrestle dark forces unbound in the wake of the god’s departure. This campaign will run biweekly from March 30th/April 13 onwards.

About me

Hi guys! My names Josh. I've been playing and DMing TTRPGs for 8 years now. I'm a musician, storyteller and all round creative but my greatest joy is weaving worlds around my friends and players, bringing their dreams to life and sewing together stories we'll never forget. I primarily run D&D 5.5 set in my world of Ebrietas but tailor my campaigns to my players. I lean towards roleplay heavy games, building the campaign around my players with plots, ranging from preventing world ending calamities to rescuing kittens from trees to everything in between. I want to make sure that everyone at the table has the chance to unravel their characters and tell the story they want to tell, so setting boundaries at session zero is very important to me. My games are open to all. New and LGBTQ+ players are especially welcome! I can't wait to meet you! :)
