About the adventure
STAR WARS SHIFTING THE BALANCE It is a time of uneasy calm in the shattered galaxy. The Jedi Order lies scattered, its survivors bound by faith more than creed. From the ashes of war, the Imperial Remnant rises once more, cloaked in the banners of peace but driven by the old hunger for control. Whispers spread through the Outer Rim of a lost experiment— PROJECT BLACKWING, a secret once buried by the Empire, now reborn through science and Sith alchemy. Across the world of Marfa, crops have withered, and strange voices cry out beneath the soil. Summoned by Master Khan Crabu and Knight Cassius Horn, a new band of heroes journeys to investigate a forgotten factory in the Tulkh Valley. Unaware, they step into the first breath of a sickness that screams through the Force… From diplomatic interventions to uncovering ancient relics, aiding frontier worlds, and confronting hidden threats, these Jedi face the galaxy’s trials together—not as students and teachers, but as equals. Will your story echo the Force’s will, or reshape it? Choose your path.

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hello. Welcome to my table... I am a game master with over 2 decades worth of experience running games of various systems, settings, and genres. Everyone is welcome at my table! I love that roleplaying games engage imagination and improvisation in both the players and the GM. I craft unforgettable tabletop experiences steeped in darkness, mystery, and high-stakes storytelling. Whether unraveling ancient conspiracies, surviving apocalyptic horrors, or battling cosmic forces, I lead players through worlds where danger lurks in every shadow. I thrive on making stories with the characters. I am known to improvise very well with whatever the characters want to do and give consequences when appropriate. I don’t seek to kill characters, but I also don’t like to hold punches in combat. I cater my style based on the game and setting we are playing. I have a physical condition called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC for short) that limits strength and mobility in my appendages, so my mind and imagination are my biggest assets. I love telling a story and being part of the creative process for others’ creativity!

Creating your character
We will go through character creation individually before our first session. I have the character sheets. We'll start at level 3. Characters will be created on Discord After every level up, I will require a copy of the character sheet to keep up to date, and to track in-character abilities, defenses, etc. This ensures smoother gameplay. Dice rolls may be made online or at home on the honor code. Star Wars has many great race and character options, so if you've a character in mind, I'm sure we can bring them to life!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
A working microphone will be required. A webcam is suggested, but not mandatory. There's a chance the game may be streamed/recorded if everyone's willing. Characters will be created. No software other than Discord should be necessary.
What Colwyn brings to the table
We will be using Roll20 for maps and combat encounters. Some tactical combat and puzzles will be featured in this campaign. I am excellent at improvising when characters do cool stuff! So rules might be more like guidelines. I usually use theater of the mind unless tactics are required, then we will use a map on Roll20.

Safety
How Colwyn creates a safe table
You should expect roleplay to be the primary activity. This is Star Wars, and war is in the name, so there will be combat. Any and all safety tools I implement are outlined during our Session 0 via Discord. If you've joined after, and are curious, I can give you a brief explanation prior to your first session with us.
