About the adventure

When an intergalactic threat targets their world, brave heroes must rise to save it. Unfortunately, those brave heroes were preoccupied, so these ones will have to do instead. Travel through the teeming oceans of Wildspace, the shimmering Astral Sea, and bustling cities on the backs of astroids. Face off against the threats of the stars, like space pirates, space clowns, and space hamsters. It's a race against time to save the your world before it's too late... Bring your joke characters, your serious characters, any and all are welcome as long as it remains respectful to the rest of the party.

About me

I started playing dungeons and dragons during the cursed 2020. I started DMing soon after, and I'm now making my own homebrew world. After a lifetime of struggling to articulate all the stories in my head, I finally had an outlet. I may only be three raccoons in a trench coat, but I'm still cultured. My music taste is stuck in the 90s, and I grew up on cult classics.

Character creation

Creating your character

Any official books are ok, third party and homebrew must be approved before session 1. All I need is a screenshot or a picture of your sheet when you make your character, and each time you level up.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Sessions will happen over Discord, and maps will be through Owlbear.

What Drak brings to the table

First and foremost, I am a storyteller. Your character's backstory, no matter how silly, **will** impact the story. Even if there is no backstory, I want everyone to feel like their character belongs in the world. I enjoy bringing each character to life with silly voices and fun quirks, building the world around the people who inhabit it. I also enjoy being flabbergasted from time to time, so I almost always allow Rule of Cool to override Rules as Written.

Homebrew rules

1: Nat 20s double the dice you roll 2: You can use a potion as a bonus action, but using a full action for a health potion gives you the max possible hit points 3: if you're character is about to take a large amount of damage, you can use the items in your inventory to take some of the damage for you. Tiny items have 1hp, Small items have 5hp, and medium items have 10hp (unless otherwise stated, or if more or less hp make more sense). When you use an item in this way, it will break and become useless until it can be repaired.

Safety

How Drak creates a safe table

We will use the X cards digitally, typed in chat. On top of that, I'll need each player to send me a list of triggers, no explanation needed. This list can be sent either in the server or privately. Any player can leave at anytime if they are overwhelmed.
