About the adventure
The Black Crag - rumored to contain lost treasures of infamous pirates - rises from the sea. Sail the Salamander Islands, ye lily-livered lot, and claim the fortune for yerselves! ⚔ ABOUT THE GAME: I'll be offering a free session 0 to iron out yours characters and explain the dynamics of 4D roleplaying. This is going to be a weekly campaign, set in a massive (and critically-acclaimed) island-crawl sandbox adventure. We'll be playing in a 4D roleplaying style. (Think Critical Role / Cinematic Improv) Your input (character background, choices you make) shape the world around you. Experienced or new players welcome, but you'll need to make (or have) one or two level 1 characters at the ready. Shadowdark is a grim and challenging system where you (not your sheet) are your character's saving grace. It's simple, easy to learn, and fun! 🍒 ABOUT LAWFUL CHERRY: A dutiful storyteller who offers reliable, paid one-shots and campaigns, with a high focus on horror and immersion. What to expect
Preparing for the session
When you're finished, making your characters on shadowdarklings, export them to JSON files (the bottom of the page shows you how to do that), and throw them into the discord, along with character images.

Homebrew rules
We'll be running on Pulp Mode, which entails: • There are no maximum luck tokens a player can have. • Players start every session with 1d4 luck tokens. • You can use a luck token to turn a hit into a critical hit. • You can use a luck token to take an extra action. • You can use a luck token to force the GM to reroll a roll.
