About the adventure

A mysterious, traveling carnival offers a chance to reclaim something you lost long ago. We will explore the enchanting and unpredictable Feywild using the Daggerheart system. This will be a shared learning experience, led by a new-to-Daggerheart Game Master for players who are also curious about the system. The focus is on collaborative storytelling, character-driven choices, and navigating a whimsical world where every roll tells a story of hope and fear. The Adventure: You will step through the shimmering curtains of the Witchlight Carnival, a domain of whimsical games, curious performers, and fey secrets. Your quest to find a lost part of your past will draw you into the greater mysteries of the Feywild—a realm of timeless beauty, deep magic, and perilous bargains. This journey is less about combat and more about clever roleplay, creative problem-solving, and navigating the often-tricky logic of fairy tales. Why Daggerheart? This system's narrative-first approach and tone are a perfect match for the Feywild. Daggerheart excels at the very shenanigans this adventure is built on: whimsical roleplay, meaningful choices, and collaborative storytelling, making the magical world feel truly alive and responsive.

About me

Me Hey there! I’m Pedro, but online I go by TompsonX. I used to run The Adventurer’s Guild, a D&D 5e community server with over 5,000 sessions played, and I’ve been a professional DM for over 8 years. I currently run two active campaigns, but I’m almost always looking for players in the GMT 18:30–23:00 time slot. My games focus on roleplay and meaningful combat, usually running about 3 hours per session. I like to offer a free trial session so you can see if our styles click before committing. If your schedule doesn’t match my regular campaigns, I’m also available for private or custom sessions—these are a bit more expensive, but perfect if you want to play at a different time. My goal is simple: to make each game fun, challenging, and memorable, while letting your characters shine and shape the story along the way.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A working microphone, with little background noise, or push to talk setup. A Discord account. Everything else will be done during session 0.

What TompsonX brings to the table

While I am new to Daggerheart, I am not new to professional DMing and i've been running multiple sessions per week of either D&D 5e, or PF2e for the last 7 years. I want this to be an opportunity to learn, in a less stressful enviroment, where the price is there more for the proof of commitment than for profit, which is why it's a significantely lower price in comparison to my usual games. I will have Foundry VTT setup with everything Daggerheart has to offer, to the best of my ability. I will have maps setup on the VTT, as well as music. I will guide you through character creation, While not a voice actor, I try my best to create mannerisms and differences in tone to make my NPCs feel distinct enough and recognizable.
