About the adventure

Answer the call of the stars. Your legend begins at Spelljammer Academy. You are a recruit—unproven, unknown, and standing at the threshold of the greatest adventure imaginable. Spelljammer Academy trains the brave, the desperate, and the extraordinary to crew magical ships that sail between worlds. Here, you’ll face deadly simulations, forge bonds with fellow cadets, and uncover secrets the academy would rather keep buried. From your very first trial, you’ll be thrown into chaos: astral pirates boarding your vessel, mysterious thefts within the academy, and deadly creatures hiding where they shouldn’t exist. Every decision you make matters. Every risk you take shapes your future. Will you rise as a trusted officer of the Spelljammer Fleet—or become another forgotten name lost in the void? This is a professional, story-driven campaign designed to immerse you fully in your character and the world. You can expect: 🚀 Cinematic combat and high-stakes encounters 🤝 A welcoming, beginner-friendly environment—no experience required 🎭 Distinct NPCs and immersive storytelling Whether you're completely new to D&D or a veteran player, this game is designed to make you feel like the hero of your own space-fantasy saga. The stars are vast. The dangers are real. And Spelljammer Academy is only the beginning. Your crew is assembling. Will you answer the call?

Please create a 1st-level character on D&D Beyond. Any officially published class and or species/race for D&D is acceptable. Please use Point Buy or Standard Array for stats. Please think of a reason that your character wants to join the Spelljammer Academy and explore Wildspace and the Astral Plane.

What Nate brings to the table

I utilize ambient sounds. We range from role play, combat, and improvisation. Be kind of other players. If there's conflict, discuss with the DM/GM privately first. Understand that the story comes before the rules sometimes. I aim to be consistent and simple and stick to RAW as much as possible. Please confirm your attendance beforehand, and have your character ready. Please try not to interrupt the DM/GM or other players when they are speaking. On video chat, everyone talking at once is more intense compared to in-person games. No PvP without consent. Other players need to be cool with anything that might violate that (i.e., stealing from other players, attacking other players, etc.).
