About the adventure
Play as a desperate treasure-hunter looking to claim something beyond material value: a favor from the Forest Queen, leader of the fae courts! Will you be one of the few mortals worthy to kneel before her and ask for a wonderous boon? Or will the Queensweald consume you as it has countless mortals before you? Trophy Dark is a storytelling game about normal people venturing into dark forests, ancient ruins, and cursed place in search of wealth. You are playing normal people looking to solve their problems on a dangerous long-shot. Most who enter these places are never seen again. The few that survive return with broken minds and bodies. The dead and the broken will serve as the forest's trophies. This is a horror game. Death and worse are the most likely outcomes for your character. Consult the content warning below. Embrace the tragedy, take risks, and know that your luck will run out. Make your character's time memorable. CWs: body horror, cannibalism, graphic violence, harm to animals, manipulation, slavery, torture.
