About the adventure
Reclamation of M23-16 is a Warhammer 40k game using the only war ruleset, in only war, each player plays a member of the Imperial Guard, one of the countless billions of hardened, faceless conscripts constantly fighting on myriad fronts. The players go forth at the behest of their officers to fight the eternal and implacable foes of the Imperium—the foul xenos, the mutant, the heretic, and the dark forces of the Ruinous Powers. Your squad is tasked with taking a forward bunker complex, asses the situation and go from there. An industrial world M23-16 has gone silent. We managed to receive one last communication from the planet confirming a rebel uprising. M23-16 is known for its production of ammo exceeding the standard Output in the region by 12.3 percent. The loss of this planet is an unacceptable outcome. Therefore, sector lord Marius Hax, has called for our aid we are to do our duty to the Lord Emperor and put down these rebel scum. The Emperor protects! Session Zero and Session one are free! The length of this campaign is Medium to long and depending on how the group feels afterwards we are able to continue through a myriad of campaigns available.

About me
Hey there, my name is Andrew, I've been running games for over 10 years. I'm always looking for a new system to pick up or an obscure tabletop game to play. I specialize in sci-fi and dystopian settings with a sandbox style, but that doesn't mean I shy away from fantasy. There's a good chance that if you're interested in something I've got a rule set for it or a game to run it in. I'm looking forward to making new friends and weaving a narrative together that we all can enjoy.

Creating your character
Character creation will be handled during session zero where the party will decide on what type of regiment they would like to play as well as craft their characters together. All of the books are available for use and coordination is encouraged amongst players.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
For this game we will be using Discord and Foundry. You do not need to have an account with Foundry, you will just need to join a link that I will provide when play time arrives.
What Andrew brings to the table
I create my own maps and provide both music as well as sound effects, I do a decent amount of the writing however When I am too busy I do hire another writer to help me. As this a more serious war game we are going to stick to rules as written however I am always open to discussions and requests. This is a war game/RPG so expect intense combat and embrace a tactical mindset
Homebrew rules
If the group is not happy with the position they are in within the first 3 sessions we can go back and recreate or work on characters and regiments. Session zero and session one are always free at all of my tables.

Safety
How Andrew creates a safe table
We will go over hard limits during session zero. I also maintain a strong open door policy and private channels with each of my players, where they can message me if they become uncomfortable. However, Warhammer is a dark setting so be prepared to see grim things.
