About the adventure
Dead Reckoning is a Starfinder Second Edition campaign running the Guilt of the Grave World Adventure Path. Starting at 1st level on Absalom Station, you'll take on a seemingly routine contract for Ulrikka Clanholdings, a dwarven mining consortium operating out of the asteroid belt known as the Diaspora. What begins as a straightforward job unravels into something far more dangerous: a mystery buried inside an ancient space station, a trail of secrets leading straight to the grave world of Eox, and a race against the Corpse Fleet to uncover the truth before they do. This campaign spans three chapters across three very different locations. You'll start in the familiar bustle of Absalom Station before heading out into the mineral-rich wilds of the Diaspora, and eventually to the irradiated necropolises of Eox itself, a barren planet ruled by immortal undead bone sages and overrun with mindless shambling hordes. Few living visitors dare to walk its surface outside the warded walls of Pact Port, but your characters won't have that option. We will begin with a free Session Zero to build characters together, align on tone, and establish party connections before the adventure starts. No prior experience with Starfinder 2e is required. Check out the Player's Guide at https://downloads.paizo.com/GuiltoftheGraveWorld_Players-Guide.pdf before Session Zero to explore your character options. Come with ideas and questions. The Diaspora is waiting.

About me
I have been a GM since the release of Pathfinder 2e over 6 years ago. I primarily run published adventure paths through official Foundry modules to ensure that my players get the best virtual experience possible. I work hard to tailor each campaign to the individual group. Since everyone is different, I want to make sure that each player gets their ideal mix of roleplay and combat as well as the right challenge level in both social and tactical scenarios. Likewise, I work to integrate the player characters into each adventure, so their backstory and actions have a truly meaningful impact on the story and result in a unique experience for everyone. I love teaching and try to structure all of my campaigns to be as beginner friendly as possible. I find it particularly rewarding to see players learn and enjoy a new system, especially if it grows into their favorite system just like it did for me.

Creating your character
Character creation is wide open. All ancestries and classes are welcome. Characters will start at level 1 and will be created between Session 0 and 1. We'll go over some character creation suggestions in Session 0 to make sure the party has strong backstories and ties to the campaign.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be playing on Foundry VTT with Discord voice chat. You won't need to download or install anything prior to the game.
What Phantom brings to the table
What are you paying for? 1. The Right Table. I vet every player to ensure the table has the right mix of enthusiasm and attitude. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or picking up a d20 for the first time, my goal is a welcoming, serious environment where everyone is here to learn, grow, and have a great time. 2. Reliability. I show up, I come prepared, and I treat every session with the same professionalism I expect from my players. You won't get last-minute cancellations or half-baked prep. 3. System Mastery. SF2e has a lot of moving parts, and I know all of them. Rather than letting the rules feel like a wall, I break them down and help you understand how your character works and why. New players especially will be able to bring their character fantasy to life without feeling lost or overwhelmed. 4. Fair, Exciting Play. I run the rules straight, no fudging, no cheating. Every combat and social encounter is crafted to genuinely challenge the party and keep everyone on their toes. If your clever plan or lucky roll takes down a villain, you earned it. I am here to challenge you, not defeat you. 5. A Premium Virtual Table. Foundry VTT means immersive maps, a clean and intuitive UI, and smooth automation that handles the heavy lifting. I also add custom animations and effects that make your abilities feel as unique as your build, so we spend more time playing and less time doing arithmetic.

Safety
How Phantom creates a safe table
Guilt of the Grave World deals with dark themes including body horror, undeath, and existential dread, so we will be using a few simple safety tools to keep the table comfortable. Session Zero will include a lines and veils conversation, where everyone contributes content they want kept out of the game entirely or handled off screen. During play we will use the X Card: type X in chat at any point and the scene moves on immediately, no explanation needed.
