About the adventure

Skulls and Shackles is the classic (and sometimes infamous) Pathfinder Adventure Path that takes players from lowly press-ganged land lubbers to pirate legends in a semi-sandbox campaign. Can you survive the Wormwood under the cruel and savage Captain Harrigan and command your own ship one day? This AP takes players from level 1 to level 14.

About me

I like to run character driven stories and classic fantasy. I found the best kinds of games had players highly invested in the world they inhabited and care about the things around them. Expect that if you join anything I run.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen during the first session. We'll be using the standard 4d6 drop lowest. Sticking to core and featured races along with the core, hybrid and base classes.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

I'll be using Foundry for the VTT, so there's nothing extra to download. VOIP will be handled over Discord.

What Dave-the-Unfortunate-GM brings to the table

I make the attempt to (poorly) give characters unique voices, but they're usually kind of cheesy. I'm no voice actor, but I give it my best attempt. I try to stick to a fair style of ruling, so please respect whatever ruling I make in the heat of a scene even if it isn't completely rules as written, it's being done in the spirit of moving the game forward.

Safety

How Dave-the-Unfortunate-GM creates a safe table

Please message me with lines and veils. One of the early antagonistic characters is a very foul mouthed pirate, who will find ways to insult people.
