About the adventure
The is an intro to DnD game. It is a low level adventure set to let people learn the system, and have some fun. We will start with character creation working out your race, class and background trying to bring your character idea to life. Then after characters are made, and players are ready to begin. We will start an adventure where players will role-play a bit, learn a few mysterious things happening, do some tracking, meet some interesting characters, and have a bit of learning the combat system. The session will focus on teamwork, creativity, and fun over complex rules, making this the ideal first dive into what D&D has to offer. This game is welcome to new players, and veterans. Enjoy learning DnD in a relaxed setting if you're a new player. Come have a good time in an adventure where what you choose shapes the story.

About me
Hi, My name is John. I've been playing Ttrpg games for 20 years, and I have been Gming for 5 years. I began when our regular Dm at the time needed a break, and I decided why not give it a try. So I decided to do one of the dumbest things......and create a custom high fantasy campaign for 7 players with a fully home brewed story mixed with scp elements, custom abilities, and more. To say the least it was an undertaking, and has been exceptionally rewarding. I have been the full time Dm for going on 3 years solid since the end of our other game. I started playing 2nd edition when i was 17 and have loved the story telling, and fun that comes with this format ever since. I have played 2nd edition, 4e(briefly, it did not go well lol),5e , Werewolf the Apocalypse, Star Wars, Monster of the Week, and a couple others over the years. I have spent the last 8 years playing weekly with a group of people that i couldn't have been luckier to find. In that time we have built a large custom world full of life, lore, and so many possibilities.

Creating your character
Characters can be of any race/species, or class Stats are roll 2 sets of 4d6 drop the lowest, and keep the better set. Player will have starting equipment. Theme- your character should be willing to face escalating, supernatural threats. Avoid overtly evil alignments; morally gray is fine, but you should be willing to help. Can contact me for any questions.
