About the adventure
The death of the last four gods of Etharis only five years ago has cast the mortal world into deep and unrelenting shadow. Some claim the gods are merely silent and will one day return. Others insist they are truly gone, and that their absence marks the beginning of the end. In the void they left behind, the kingdoms of Etharis fracture and strain, rumors of civil war stirring old hatreds and threatening to drown the land in blood once more. Horrific monstrosities stalk the wilds, and cruelty festers in both beast and mortal alike. Yet alongside the terror are countless people in desperate need, struggling simply to survive. Roads have become deathtraps, plagued by brigands, warped creatures, and merciless opportunists. Travel is never safe, and mercy is a rare luxury. With the gods’ blessings gone, famine and malnutrition spread across the realm, while sickness tightens its grip. Old diseases worsen, and new plagues arise, none more feared than the weeping pox, which harvests victims faster than authorities can respond. In their despair, the peoples of Etharis seek someone—or something—to blame. Many turn their hatred toward magic, and suspicion quickly becomes persecution. Fear rules hearts, and trust is a forgotten currency. And something unseen watches, patient and waiting. This is the world you now walk. Etharis offers no second chances. With the gods dead, resurrection is no longer possible—every death is final, and every choice carries the weight of eternity.

About me
I am a TTRPG enthusiast and have been DMing for over 7 years. I also believe in the three pillars of TTRPG's exploration, combat, and roleplay. All of these can and will be used to enhance enjoyment of the game. I love weaving player backstory with the main adventure and do my best to have anything they give me come to fruition.

Creating your character
We will use both 2014 and 2024 rules for character creation at level 1. Message me any questions you have on world lore, locations, or recommendations for your ideas. If you want to send me your backstories feel free to do so, I will always read and use anything you write down about your character. If you do not have one or wish to use a pre-made character, please message me and we can choose from a couple.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
-Please make a Free D&D Beyond account and character at level 1. -Please make a Free Discord account and add me as a friend. Link will be sent once you sign up. -We will use both 2014 & 2024 ruleset for 5e to create characters before we begin. And we will roll stats together for clarity. -The playable races are as follows: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Half Elf, Half Orc, Dragonborn, Gnomes and halflings. Exotic races are playable but discouraged due to the difficulty it could bring in-game for newer players. Please talk with me in order to get that set up.
What Mighty brings to the table
I love telling stories together, my GM style is that which has a story but add yours seamlessly into it. I always do voices for the immersion and having music is a must as well. I will bend the rules if it makes sense in our minds or if something cool is trying to be achieved. My style of play is heavy roleplay and heavy combat both having their risks. I have roleplay that is engaging, having actual impact on the story. And run challenging combats that test you, to where making bad decisions can get your character killed. And though it can be a trial death of a character can be the height of a campaign if done right. Dark fantasy is my favorite style of game, with just enough difficulty to make it immersive but to feel awesome in the end.
