About the adventure

A Dungeons & Dragons 5e Halloween Horror One-Shot Adventure for 5th level characters Thirteen years ago, the moonlight turned crimson over Deepmere Hollow. Once a sacred lakeside village devoted to Selûne, goddess of the moon, it became the site of a horrific massacre when a coven of hags sacrificed its settlers to the dark goddess Shar in a ritual of blood and betrayal. The village was swallowed by the High Forest, its name spoken only in whispers. Now, on the final night of Uktar, a band of pilgrims and revelers returns to rekindle the ancient Feast of the Moon. Hired to guard the procession, a group of adventurers arrives in Deepmere Hollow expecting bonfires and blessings—but what they find is a place steeped in silence, rot, and forgotten horrors. As the moon rises and the feast begins, something awakens beneath the lake. Shadows stretch unnaturally. The air thickens with dread. One by one, the pilgrims begin to vanish. The adventurers must unravel the mystery of the 13th Feast, survive the night, and confront an unspeakable evil that walks again beneath the moonlight. Will you protect the innocent—or become the next offering?

About me

As an organized and detail-oriented Game Master, I bring rich plot lines and immersive story elements to every campaign. I specialize in weaving player backstories seamlessly into the narrative to create cohesive, unforgettable adventures. With experience spanning decades—from my start with the Red Box Dungeons & Dragons to my deep love for 3.5 edition—I’ve honed my skills and storytelling craft over time. After returning to 5E four years ago, I’ve been hosting weekly online games that keep players engaged and coming back for more. Currently, I run campaigns using the 2024 Dungeons & Dragons rules on the Shard Tabletop Virtual Tabletop (VTT) platform. Let’s roll the dice and make stories come alive!

What DocApocalypse brings to the table

I have a ton of rulebooks, background music, dice, border tokens, and maps, everything needed to make this a fun and exciting game! We will be playing mostly RaW, but there will be Rule of Cool moments, and some dark humor, for 18+ players only.

We will be using Luck Points, Inspirations and Heroic Inspirations

Safety

How DocApocalypse creates a safe table

We will be playing an adult only game, nothing overtly sexual, there will be extreme violence as the tone of the game is similar to a slasher film, but nothing overly descriptive. We can discuss everything on Discord beforehand.
