About the adventure

Sith-Killers takes place in 9 BBY, when a reclusive Jedi, that had shunned the ways of the Jedi, pays a gang of outlaws to help assassinate a long-time rival Sith who has similarly left the religion. The outlaws consist of experienced criminals, with knowledge in security systems, weapons, and vehicle operation. The outlaws are mostly interested in the disgraced Jedi's money, and the wealth they can pillage from taking down the Sith's warlord empire. The outlaws have their own problems, having been hurt by the Sith's gang members or drowning in debt. The outlaws know it will be a long, dangerous process, but it is better than scraping a living under The Empire's brutal regime. About me

I am a longtime TTRPG GM that loves D&D & GURPS, with a large library of books, art assets, and time to share with my players, it is my favorite thing to do. I am a huge fan of roleplay and often modify mechanics to benefit storytelling & session fluidity. I use Foundry VTT, which is free to my players, and includes vast customization options for every campaign & every participant. Please take a look at this Google Sheet for all of my GURPS games: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OIi-Yp_5L2k4LvJ_L-YxgZ_YF7QIsZr4h0PIoit8fKM/edit?usp=sharing

Character creation

Creating your character

Character Creation will take place individually, with each respective player and the GM. Once both parties agree, the characters will be introduced to each other in a Session 0, which will include meshing the characters. Character Creation will remain active until Session 3, meaning players can fiddle with their character for a bit to make sure it is a right fit. This is to ensure everyone is having fun with their characters, and no one feels like they wasted points on a feature. Character will be created in GURPS Character Sheet (GCS), which is a free program with comprehensive data on GURPS 4e.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Bring a solid character idea, and maybe character art, with a token. You'll need to have Discord to communicate. Reading GURPS 4e Basic Set is all that I ask, additional books & rules will become available as needed. The players should also make sure they have GCS (see above).

What John brings to the table

Foundry VTT, which is free to players, a library of GURPS 4e books that will be available to players, and custom art assets & maps, some powered by AI. Ambient music will be used to set the tone and mood of a location or scene. The players will be expected to roleplay heavily throughout the session. Any Combat or Puzzles will be laid out smoothly to aid in the creation of solutions and tactics.

Safety

How John creates a safe table

The GM and players will have a Session 0 where they discuss content they don't want to see, and how to go forward so everyone is happy. Players can also discuss breaks, as needed, for longer sessions.
