About the adventure

"A crack has formed in the darkness of the Alwaysgreen Forest., leaking rot and decay. Threes are withering and crops are failing to mature. Strange, twisted creatures have been seen in the shadows. Seeds of Decay is an adventureand campaign setting for 5th edition that takes you to the dark, whimsical world of the Dobbers." This is the description for the Module Seeds of Decay by Spattered Ink Games and published by Hitpoint Press. About me

Hello, I'm Madeline. I'm your resident geek that loves all things Tabletop. I love Board games and Tabletop Role Playing Games. I have kind of a chipper kind of personality, but I can also be a little Quiet sometimes. But don't worry. I'm all about talking when I DM. I love to show and not just tell what's going on in the environment around my player's characters. I do this by describing more than just the basics. Instead of saying "You walk into a Tavern", I'd say, "As you walk into the broken hull of the ship known as the Rusty Spoon, The smell of pipe Tobacco and a hearty stew hit your nostrils. You hear the crowded sounds of patrons ordering drinks, playing cards, and having arm wrestling contests. As Waitresses dart about the place, you make your way to the bar at the back. A lone bar keep with a pipe in his mouth and a wink in his eye welcomes you, 'How's it going Stranger? What can I get for you?' " I enjoy helping them feel scared and excited when their characters feel that way. Anyway, that's all for now. I hope to see you in a game soon. Bye!

Character creation

Creating your character

There will be a free Session Zero where we will make our characters together. Just keep in mind that all species (including the custom ones in the Module) Must be size small or smaller. This is for practicality reasons and for being true to the setting. There is a new Species called Dobbers which are size Tiny. They are the primary species that lives in the Alwaysgreen Forest and therefore their structures will only fit size small or smaller. There will be content that a player will miss if they tried to play a medium sized character.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Please do the Following: - Join my Discord server (We will be using it for Voice calls and text chats): https://discord.gg/9SECfrkeX5 - Read through the Provided Materials on Discord. (It will have background info for the setting) - Make a free Alchemy account (This is just to keep track of your character, you do not have to pay anything)

What Madeline Wonder brings to the table

I'm very much a role play heavy GM, but there will be some combat in the Module. I love the Rule of Cool just don't try to do anything impossible with it.

Homebrew rules

These rules will be provided in a handout that I will provide to my players through Discord.

Safety

How Madeline Wonder creates a safe table

I always have an open door policy and I won't call you out for any comments you make with me privately. I also use X, N, O cards to make sure everyone is comfortable. I also use session zero to set expectations and debriefing to make sure everyone was OK. Stars and Wishes are also a way that I make sure people are getting the most out of my sessions.
