About the adventure
Fault Lines of Sharn A Faction-Driven Political Campaign in Eberron The Last War is over. The struggle for control has begun. In Sharn — Breland’s crown jewel — four powers are maneuvering to define the future of Khorvaire. Governments maintain order publicly. Dragonmarked Houses rebuild profitably. The Aurum exerts pressure quietly. Extremists recruit among the disillusioned. Peace is holding — but it is cracking. You begin in Sharn at Level 3, as capable independent operatives already shaped by the war's aftermath: veterans, investigators, agents, artificers, opportunists with defined skills and allegiances. A deniable contract in Lower Sharn reveals coordinated faction interference. What begins as quiet work exposes a struggle already in motion. Every decision shifts leverage. Every alliance creates enemies. There is no static plot. The factions move whether you intervene or not. The question is not whether conflict returns. It is who benefits when it does. This campaign will launch with three committed players — no need to wait for a full table. No prior Eberron knowledge is required. The setting and factions unfold naturally through play. -The Power Struggle: Breland Official stability backed by deniable intelligence work. “Do this quietly.” contracts protect the crown from political fallout. House Cannith Openly rebuilding the world — and profiting from it. Reconstruction, warforged labor, and legacy weapons create morally complicated opportunities. The Aurum Philanthropists on the surface. Economic manipulation beneath. Power without fingerprints. Emerald Claw Veterans who believe peace is weakness. Their grievances are understandable. Their methods are not. You may align with a faction. Play them against one another. Or attempt to undermine them all. Each choice changes the political landscape of Sharn. -What You’ll Actually Be Doing: Negotiating contracts that carry hidden consequences Investigating destabilizing events before they ignite Choosing between public diplomacy and private violence Navigating faction politics in council chambers and alleyways Watching power shift in response to your actions Combat happens — but it is rarely the first move. This campaign blends espionage, political maneuvering, and pulpy urban action. -Player Fit: This game is ideal for players who enjoy: ✔ Character-driven decisions with lasting impact ✔ Political tension and faction dynamics ✔ Moral gray areas without clear heroes ✔ A living world that evolves based on player action New to D&D? Full guidance provided. Experienced players? Expect layered intrigue and meaningful leverage. -Tone & Style: Arcane political thriller with noir undertones. Serious stakes, dynamic factions, and visible consequences. Player agency within a structured, evolving power struggle.

About me
Adam (Legend Weaver) has been playing Dungeons and Dragons since elementary school. Since then, he's played several different role-playing games, both in-person and online. He spent several years running a Vampire LARP in his city and has hundreds of hours of storytelling and game-running experience. Critical Role brought him back to the world of Dungeons and Dragons, and he enjoys being both behind the screen and in the trenches with other players. As an actor and singer, Adam enjoys telling stories, and this just adds to the list of stories he can help tell. He uses his theatre training to add creative NPCs and descriptions to enhance the player experience as much as possible. We now have a Discord Community server! Creating your character
Characters will be created in D&D Beyond within a custom campaign link provided after registration. We begin at Level 3, allowing you to start with a defined subclass and established identity within Sharn’s political landscape. Character creation will be finalized during Session 0, with planning and concept discussion encouraged beforehand. Session 0 focuses on: Establishing faction connections Defining prior relationships between characters Aligning backstories with Sharn’s power structure Ensuring party cohesion Stats will be rolled on D&D Beyond, using the 4d6 drop lowest format. All official published 5e material is allowed, with setting-appropriate guidance provided as needed. No prior Eberron knowledge is required — I will help integrate your character naturally into the world and its factions.
What to expect

What GM Adam, dba Legend Weaver brings to the table
I provide access to nearly every current official D&D sourcebook through D&D Beyond, allowing for flexible but setting-appropriate character options. My GM style emphasizes: Strong player agency within a structured political framework Heavy roleplay and character-driven decisions Meaningful faction consequences A living world that responds to player action NPCs are voiced with subtle distinction to support immersion without theatrical excess. Ambient tone and pacing are used to reinforce tension, intrigue, and escalation. I balance Rules as Written with Rule of Cool. Creative solutions are encouraged — especially in a campaign centered on negotiation, leverage, and influence — while maintaining consistency and fairness in adjudication. Combat is purposeful rather than constant. When it happens, it matters.

How GM Adam, dba Legend Weaver creates a safe table
I use the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist prior to Session 0. Responses are compiled into a master document that is shared in the private Discord server so everyone understands established boundaries. During Session 0, we review tone, expectations, and any relevant content considerations before play begins. Each session includes a scheduled mid-session break to manage pacing, allow for bio breaks, and address any emotional bleed if needed. Communication remains open at all times. Each player has access to a private Discord channel for one-on-one discussion. If something needs to be addressed during play, players may message me directly or speak up — adjustments will be made without question. The goal is a campaign with high tension in the story, not at the table.
