About the adventure
Welcome to the Kingdom of Brunnel. A picture perfect kingdom surrounded by a dark forest that is a remnant of the Dark Kings reign. But everything is fine now. The heroes saved the day and it's been peaceful ever since. But when everything is good there needs to be an evil to remind the citizens of that. That's what happened, everyone woke up one day to a voice in their heads alerting them to the new Chosen Ones, the ones that will try and take over the world, and for some reason your name is on the list. Now you and the other 'Bad guys' have to figure out a way to break free of fates chains, and convince the rest of the world you aren't evil, while the world seems to keep trying to force you to accept your fate. The heroes certainly have. But you aren't alone, there are dark forces who are now ready to offer their assistance... What do you mean that isn't a good thing? Looks Like You Have Some Choices to Make huh?

About me
Hey, I'm Tell. I've been a GM for about 4 years now. In that time I've run a few short campaigns. A 3 year long campaign that my players finished a few months ago. I've also run a few gimmicky one shots. Personally I draw on sources like fairy tales, myths and other stories as inspiration. I love cartoons, comics, power rangers, and fantasy books. But writing and inventing worlds is my favorite thing. I love world building and I love adding little details that make a world real.

Creating your character
Character Creation will happen prior to session one. Stats will be determined by rolling 4d6 and dropping the lowest so you add up the largest 3 dice for each stat. Every character will start at level one but they will leveling up fairly quickly so have that in mind when you start creating your character. I would like for there to be a pdf version of your character sheet, even if you use some other form while playing. I also want to highlight even though your characters are going to be in one role because of the story don't feel limited by who they are and their history. Have fun with it.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have a discord account, you'll be prompted to join a server when you sign up for the game. I want this to be a low cost barrier so we're going to start with just discord and we might evolve to bigger and better things as the campaign goes on.
What Tell brings to the table
I prefer to favor role play over combat settings but I still do combat about a quarter of the sessions, depending on what my players prefer. I don't do ambient music because I find online it makes things much more complicated. For Fate specifically there is a weird component of anti-railroading where there is an external patron almost that seems to be setting up a correct path that is built to be stepped off of. I use some character voices, my combat is fairly balanced - there is a chance of character death but I try to not make it feel hopeless. I do a lot of narrative and character work, there will be some investigation and finding the next steps for yourself, but if you do something awesome it will tend to stick with you. (ie you randomly roll a nat 20 on drawing a picture you might later be given a magic paintbrush) I reward rp. I do not tolerate murder hobos.

How Tell creates a safe table
The game will start with a session zero where we'll go over everyone's boundaries and a bit more nuance on the possible triggers that might come up during sessions. Players will then be able to dm me privately to let me know if we need to pause or stop a thing we're doing because of trigger and I will let everyone else know without drawing attention to the person who has requested the pause.
