About the adventure
A mad demi-god has taken the town of Tempo and you're the only ones who can stop him! In this timed one-act, you will have three hours to save Tempo or be consumed with it. You will have 45 minute days in which to work. When the 45 minutes are up, you will be forced to long rest and repeat the day. Time will pause for turn-based actions such as combat or player-requested situations. Each turn based action will increase Ja Vu's awareness of your intention and might cause him to intervene. This is a puzzle quest that will rely on your wits, role playing, and quick thinking to solve. Before the one-act, you will receive a breakdown of the town. Since you will be playing natives of the town, you are free to invent NPCs that might be able to help you. I have the town built but you are the ones who live in it. You know it better than I do. You will start and end at level 5. You may choose any race and class subject to my approval. Teamwork will be rewarded above individual accomplishments so focus on synergy and you might get out of this town with your lives.

About me
I just finished DMing the first chapter of a campaign I wrote. I want to guide another group of players through to help streamline and develop the story. My players absolutely loved the story and I’m excited to evolve it with the next party.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
You may create any 5th level character that has lived in the town for at least 5 years. Use standard rolls for your character creation. If you can convince me that your stats need to be altered, then I will approve an upgrade in exchange for a downgrade. For example: if you think your character should be stronger, then you must sacrifice a point in dexterity. I am a sucker for backstory based stats. Your characters have built some kind of life here and care about the town and the townspeople Some of you are natives and others are transplants. I will provide a map of the town and brief synopsis of the town before we start. Feel free to add any NPCs that support your character. I am flexible regarding character creation with the exception of dudamancy. That's just cheating.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have an account on discord. I will send a link to a discord group a few days before the game starts. I will add a link to join Foundry in the Discord. You do not have to use video. I may use it to illustrate an example but you are not obligated to do the same.
What Evan brings to the table
I love radio drama and will endeavor to bring that love to you. I will do voices, accents, sound effects, the works. I have a lot of performance experience so I have no shame in that regard. I do not require you to do the same but I will embrace anything you bring the table and run with it. The rules as written are our guideline, but I am flexible and will accept anything you want to do as a possibility. Your story is more important than rules. That said, if there is something that stretches the rules to their extreme, I will put it to a vote to see if everyone is comfortable with it.
Homebrew rules
Potions are bonus actions. Intensity, role play, and method will impact how difficult something is. All out of combat rolls go through me. If you announce a roll before I request it then you will roll at disadvantage: roll again and take the lowest of the two rolls.

How Evan creates a safe table
X,N,O cards will be digital. Please send them to me privately so I can steer the content in a safe direction. Though fantasy is lovely the reality of my players is crucial. I am sensitive to all my player's safety and will do my best to provide a safe space in which to enjoy ourselves. The story is important but there is no story without safe storytellers.
