About the adventure
"Nestled on the northern Sword Coast, between Neverwinter Wood and the Sword Mountains, is the town of Phandalin. Centuries ago, Phandalin was a thriving settlement with deep ties to its neighboring communities. But then bandits overran the town, and Phandalin lay abandoned for centuries. Only in the past few years have settlers built a new village on the ruins of the old. These townsfolk hope to grow Phandalin through hard work, camaraderie, and the shared purpose of building a lasting home. Threatening their efforts and their survival are bandits, brigands, and monsters." This is where you come in. You are a newly, self-described adventurer, ready for exciting action. A good friend, the dwarf Gundren Rockseeker, has given you your first taste of the adventuring life by tasking you with an simple escort mission. He has charged you with taking a wagon filled with merchandise to the outlying mining settlement of Phandalin. Sounds like a an easy job right? Well, little do you know that your life is about be turned upside down, and you'll soon find yourself involved in rescue missions, dungeon diving, and confronting otherworldly beings. Do you have the stomach for it? Or will you turn tail and run? Only one way to know for sure. Join the campaign! As the game title says, this is a game designed for female players, especially new players who want to try out D&D for the first time without fear of judgment and in a laid back and relaxed environment. LGBTQ Friendly! First session is free (try before you buy)! Biweekly sessions. $20 per session, or 6 sessions for $100 (ask about package deals).

About me
I've been a GM for six years now. I've done many campaigns, weaving complex official D&D storylines together with my own bit of personal flair. I've also done a number of one shots and one page dungeons. These last ones can be the most fun as they often differ dramatically and put players in some very unusual situations. I'm available for hire for a group that wants to run the Curse of Strahd Campaign, Rise of Tiamat, Phandelver and Below, and many more. For sessions, I primarily use a mix of theater of the mind and I use tabletop simulator for visuals to create some elaborate 3d dungeons and then I stream the feed to a zoom channel where players make decisions for their characters and interact.

Creating your character
Characters will be created in the zero session. We will discuss character builds, backstory, and how your character might be connected to this campaign. Knowledge of the Forgotten Realms setting is nice, but not necessary.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
1. Have a free account for DnD Beyond: https://www.dndbeyond.com/ 2. Have access to Discord app or program. 3. You need a mic and headset(to avoid audio feedback). Webcam is encouraged, but optional.
What Alex Cloud brings to the table
While much of this process is theater of the mind, I use or build my own maps in tabletop simulator, which I then stream to discord to provide visuals. (You do not need access to tabletop simulator to play). I also provide the atmosphere with storytelling and voices. Since I use tabletop for visuals, I do allow and encourage players to make a figure at Heroforge.com that represents their in-game character. I then deduct the cost of the digital download from a player's session. It's a nice way to get your character represented adequately and get a discount on a session.
