About the adventure
Deep in a forest some believe may be older than the gods themselves one can find the circles of multiple druid groves. For millennia they have lived in harmony, and when outsiders come to disturb their peaceful ways by felling the trees of this holy ground, they are forced to bond together to put an end to this. Each grove sends one druid to see what can be done about the situation and ask them to report back to their respective circles once they have gathered enough information to act. Little do they know, that the lumberjacking, entitled nobleman is the least of their worries. 💬 Game Details This is an asynchronous play by post game set in my homebrew world where you play as a druid part of a group of druids tasked with protecting the ancient forest you call home from a series of unforeseen threats. Explore, fight, solve puzzle and interact with the various circles to explore ways to become stronger. 🔥Character Driven and Story Focused The game will be largely driven by the groups character actions, and those actions will come with consequences. Your choices matter. 🖤 Boundaries The game is LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive. We start the game off with a session 0 where we discuss what kind of character you want to play and whatever boundaries we both have. Session 0 is free and if during the first week you realize this style of game is not for you I will refund you the cost of that first week. 🖤 If you cannot work well in groups and share the loot evenly, this group is not for you. 📅 Posting Schedule Daily long posts which advances the narrative forward, written with the same amount of detail I put into my fantasy novels. Additionally I will respond with shorter messages daily for more conversational roleplay between you and the NPCs. If the players wish, we can also coordinate certain dates and times where we sit down once per week and focus on the roleplay, either over voice or over text. Although that may come with a small extra fee. We will discuss that as a group in session 0.

About me
Hi! I have been a DM for close to 10 years, with 15 years experience in text roleplay and creative writing. My specialization is creating character arcs and involving character backstory into the plot of the game. I used to run successful a westmarch community 3 years ago where I streamed my games on twitch. I quit when I decided to go back to university and finish up my education and I realized I could not realistically do both. Additionally, I also enjoy building my own systems, homebrewing and worldbuilding. All my games take place in my own homebrew world where the actions of all players are canon. If you burn down a village, that village is gone for everyone.

Creating your character
You will start at level 3. Character creation will be done during session 0, you do not need to bring any materials or programs. Just an idea of who you want to be. I will set up your character sheet in FoundryVTT and then export it so you can have it as an image to look at when the foundry server is closed (While I am sleeping or not home).
What to expect
Preparing for the session
All you need is a discord account and an idea of what kind of character you want to play!
What Railynn brings to the table
I will bring a hosted FoundryVTT server where you can find your character sheet and where we will run combat scenes on elaborate battlemaps. As well as a discord server with dedicated channels relevant to your game.
Homebrew rules
Drinking a potion is a bonus action but feeding it to someone else is an action. I will allow you to do cool things even if it goes against the rules as long as it is at the bare minimum semi realistic. (No jumping to the moon with 10 strength and no magic aiding you for example.)

How Railynn creates a safe table
Before I start any game I run a session 0 where we go over our hopes and expectations for the game. Additionally, we will talk about boundaries, open communication, if you have any no-no topics or triggers I should avoid, etc. If there is something you don't want in the game, I will not put it in the game and I will keep an open communication with my players throughout the game and give warnings if something which could be any level of traumatic would happen (unless the player asks me not to in session 0). Once per month I check in with all my players to ask about how they feel about where the story is going as well as the vibe of the game. I also ask if there is anything they would love to see happen or something they would love for their character to be capable of and I will begin the process of creating opportunities for that to happen.
