About the adventure

This Call of Cthulhu campaign takes you to the Japan of the 1980s. It is a time when the generations are at odds, yakuza gangs are thriving, and the traditional world is at war with modernity. Ancient creeds, gods, and spirits vie to keep their toe-hold in this new world of capitalist opportunity—and overworked and overwhelmed humans turn in desperation to spiritual organizations that promise release and new meaning. This is a world that needs the Prince of Pale Leaves—and he answers the call. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Play-by-Post is an asynchronous, text-based format that runs throughout the week, and you can choose when and how often to post. Instead of having to find four uninterrupted hours to play a live session, you can play whenever you have time, like on a lunch break, before bed or while drinking your morning coffee. I'll be posting at least once and often multiple times per day, matching the group's pace. Play-by-Post is the perfect way to experience TTRPGs without the stress of scheduling, rushed decisions, or talking over each other. You can explore your character's thoughts and emotions and think carefully about what you do or say without the pressure of improvisation.
