About the adventure
People's Garden Pond, Phoenix Park, Dublin. You are one of a gaggle of geese who have taken over this pond after engaging in mortal combat with the previous duck inhabitants. Having settled in, your gaggle is approached with a once in a lifetime chance. A charity Bake Off competition is happening at the bandstand outside Dublin Zoo. Are you really gonna let a bunch of stupid humans eat that cake? Shouldn't be hard for a couple of resourceful geese to grab that delicious cake before the humans get their weird fingers all over it.

About me
Hey guys, gals and non binary pals! I'm the Dreaded DM, also known as Dread, also known as Caitlin I will answer to any title, especially if it's flattering! I'm an Irish/American/Caribbean TTRPG performer and GM, ready to use my experience and skills to run some lovely games. I started playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e five years ago, finding an online game using a platform very similar to this. I very quickly became enamoured with the game and began running games both online and IRL. In the years since, I have run both free and paid games for conventions, events and Twitch streams all over Ireland and have made some incredible friends along the way. Creating your character
Because character creation is extremely simple in this game, we will spend the first 15 - 20 mins of the session creating your own goose. All you will need is a sheet of paper and a pen/pencil. However if you would prefer to get straight into the action, I will have pregenerated geese ready to fly!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will be playing in my discord server (I will provide an invite link once the party is assembled) so a Discord account is nesscary to play. Once we have our full party confirmed, I will provide any handouts that are required through the Discord server in a private chat within the server. If you have any questions about the game, character creation etc. please feel free to ask them in the group chat! The H.O.N.K system uses traditional six sided dice so if you would like to roll in real life, steal three to four dice out of your nearest Monopoly or Cluedo! Otherwise we will be rolling using commands on Discord.
What The Dreaded DM brings to the table
I tend to do character voices in games and I will always try to indicate if I'm speaking in or out of character. Please be aware that you as a player are not obligated to do silly voices! I just like to! I also like to use ambient music where appropriate but please do not hesitate to tell me to turn off the music if you find it overstimulating! Finally, as I mentioned in the prep section I prefer to use IRL dice in my games but there will be the option to roll dice in Discord. I will use it it to roll important rolls "in front of the table".
