About the adventure

For players of all experience-levels, join a fun, light-hearted adventure in the Eberron campaign setting. Infiltrate airships and plan lightning-rail heists, or defend the realm from the encroaching forces of Khyber! Small or large scale, you have the freedom to choose your adventure in Eberron. About me

After being desperate to play TTRPG's for a while but unable to find someone to host, I decided to shoulder that responsibility myself and haven't looked back! I've GM'd 5th edition D&D for 7 years now, juggling multiple groups and ensuring freedom for my players through adaptability. I'm able to accommodate different play-styles and run both bespoke experiences or officially released modules. Fundamental to the way I run games is the idea that the players are here to have fun, and rules can be bent and events twisted to accommodate the party's ideas, no matter how outlandish!

Character creation

Creating your character

Conversations prior to session 1 will include character creation guidance in addition to exploring expectations for the session. In the first session, I will allocate some time (30 mins or so) to have a quick session zero, introduce all players, and set pre-agreed boundaries and expectations.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

A basic understanding of the rules is always useful, but everyone starts somewhere. If anyone is particularly worried about rules, the GM can offer a 1-1 tutorial of the basic mechanics for a small fee. Players will need a microphone to participate, but webcams are optional. Character will be created in advance with guidance and restrictions where appropriate from the DM. Individuals who are familiar with the game will be encouraged to use whatever method of keeping track of their character they prefer, players new to the game will be encouraged to utilise D&D Beyond for both dice rolls, character creation, and character sheets.

What Tom E brings to the table

I will bring interactive maps for each combat encounter, unique NPC's, stories and locations, as well as a wealth of knowledge and experience both theoretical (from sourcebooks) and practical, from years of GM'ing games for multiple large groups.

Safety

How Tom E creates a safe table

Pre-session conversation will explore character creation, campaign themes, and expectations for the game. The GM will allocate time during session 1 to do a short "session zero" and outline expectations and boundaries. The GM is always open to discussing feedback or any worries or concerns players may have, whether this is at the table or privately.
