About the adventure
In a not too distant future, humankind has embarked on frequent missions to explore the far reaches of space. While many believe it's a thriving time for science and discovery, there are some who believe that humanity is running from something. Stories of monsters and ancient beings in the dark have been told around fires since humans first looked into the dark and could feel a thousand eyes staring back at them. But what if the origin of these stories wasn't on this planet; and what if our legendary curses were some science humanity wasn't capable of understanding. “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” - Arthur C. Clark Explore a galaxy of famous monsters as a member of an elite science crew, and unbeknownst to you, subject of a controversial new project: "The Application of Lycanthropy and the effects of Lunar Radiation." As a werewolf, you'll come into contact with strange races and creatures all based on sci-fi versions of the universal monsters. Hunt the origin of your curse, battle Cosmic Vampires, defend against the siege of Planet Frankenstein and outrun a horde of Astro Zombies. All while battling your own changes and the random effects of strange moons on a strange world. This game will use D&D 5E (2014) rules, with magic and mythology being framed as strange sciences and cosmic energies. Alien and ancient races take the place of gods and monsters. And high fantasy moves aside for a space opera, by way of hammer horror.

Creating your character
As this campaign will start on a near-future Earth, players should create a level 3 human or human variant (e.g. near humans and human lineages) that can fit readily into a sci-fi setting. All classes are allowed with the exception of druid as the ability to wildshape would be out of place in a campaign where transforming into a werewolf is a significant part of the story. All magic will be reframed as advanced technology and medicine, so as long as your character can be justified in this setting. Anything goes (with the aforementioned exclusions). There will also be a free session 0 to discuss characters and iron out any details.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
This game will use FoundryVTT hosted on the Forge. As such, players will need a to set up an account ahead of time. This can be done for free via the below link: https://eu.forge-vtt.com/account/signup This game will also use video/voice chat on discord so an account will also be required
What Gnoll And Void Games brings to the table
As well as an encyclopedic knowledge of old horror and sci-fi, I run my games with a focus on character development, story and engagement as the primary focus. As such, rules are a great guideline but can be treated as malleable if it means a player can have frequent emotional scenes and action hero moments. "Do the cool thing, leave the mechanics of it to the GM." I also provide an original story, monsters and artwork, as well as ambient music from Syrinscape and animated maps by Forgotten Adventures.
Homebrew rules
The only additional rule to take note of will be in calculating lunar and radiation when exploring a new planet and travelling in your starship as this will effect how characters are able to resist the change of the werewolf and remain in full control of their powers and abilities.

How Gnoll And Void Games creates a safe table
This is a sci-fi/horror setting with evil monsters that will occasionally step outside of the walls of "Saturday Morning Villainy" and will use R-rated violence as a tactic. Every effort will be made to portray these villains as cartoonish and ridiculous but they will not be above resorting to mind games and trickery. After all, it takes a monster to defeat a monster. Player comfort is always the priority and this campaign will use the Lines and Veils (at session 0 to discuss potential problematic content) and an Open Door policy so that we can create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone
