About the adventure
Let's flip the script. You've been the heroes before. Dozens of dungeons, thousands of enemies, hundreds of traps, inconveniences and tasks. This time, the task is simple - you're in charge of Site 17 of the local Evil Incorporated, keeping civilians outside, inspectors happy, and your fellow coworkers happy. Stock the supply closet, reset the traps, clean up the blood, all in the name of a productive quarter. ~~~ You'll be building a dungeon, then defending it against heroes attempting to invade it. In between dungeon raids, make decisions about resources, deal with visiting office politics, and set yourself up to be around after the yearly cull of under performing employees. Make friends with locals, decide to stick with corporate, or, perhaps, become a whistleblower, fighting your prior coworkers as you run for your life.

Creating your character
Session 0, we'll do some character creation. You'll likely be playing a not so goody two shoes character to start with, but that can change over time. All 2024 and 2014 official content is allowed. Laserllama, Kibblestasty, Somanyrobots and a variety of other homebrew are on the table. See something that's not in the auto approved document in the discord? Let me know and we'll talk about it!

What Mack (Sojourninthetrees) brings to the table
High quality custom maps, with custom-placed assets, minion characters, imaginative combat and enemies, Kibblestasty crafting compendium and loads of magic items. There'll be chances for Rule of Cool, developing story lines and side characters. One session a week over voice chat in discord, and then a few responses/planning changes over the week in the server itself.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew spells and classes are availible, and I can provide premade characters if you'd like. Potions are simple - bonus action, roll for health recovered. Drink a potion as an action, maximum healing acquired. We'll be using a version of 2024 playtest rules for exhaustion. Each level of exhaustion adds a cumulative -1 to every d20 roll. Max exhaustion is 10, at which point your character instantly perishes.

During session 0 we'll discuss any content or triggers that will not be a part of the campaign, both from myself as a DM and you as a player. Open door policy, if you need to skip out for any reason, please do so. We'll take a regular break in the middle of the session, and private messaging is always open about various concerns you may have.
