About the adventure
IMPORTANT: I have flexible weekend Availability if the start time does not work for you please send me a message and I will see if I can make it work! Blades in the Dark is a fiction forward game about playing criminals in the corrupt industrial city of Doskvol. Players choose a crew type, ranging from Assassins, Cults, Drug Dealers or smugglers and more and perform jobs to earn Reputation and Coin My GM style when it comes to Blades in the Dark is to base the overarching plotline on the type of crew you are and when your hunting grounds is, using a mix of the games defined starting areas for each crew and my own placements. So every campaign is a little unique Session 0 the players would choose their playbooks, agree on a crew type and a hunting ground. Session 1 would be an introduction score to help new players learn mechanics and then from session 2 onwards its off to the races. The game is open to all experience levels, and is LGBTQI+ friendly. I'm also fluent in a few other Forged in the Dark games like Band of Blades, Court of Blades and Girls by Moonlight, if you'd rather play any of those, send me a message and I'll make a new listing within 48 hours

About me
I've been GMing for awhile, maybe 2-ish decades? I'm not exactly sure on the math but I got my start when I saw the ItsmeJP youtube channel host Swan Song and learned that Roll20 existed. I'd always enjoyed forum play-by-post RPing but gaming in person was beyond my ability due to nobody in the small town in northern Minnesota where I lived being interested. I moved from system to system and slowly learned how much I enjoyed GMing and I've been doing it ever since.

Preparing for the session
Having a discord and roll20 account will be needed, I'll provide the quickstart rules to anyone who needs them, look it over that is all.
What CJ "Rusty" brings to the table
I will bring the roll20 Blades in the Dark set up complete with clocks and tokens, as well as a breadth of experience coming from over a dozen played BitD games as both player and DM
Homebrew rules
I will be using bits and portions of the Deep Cuts expansion, such as the improved advancment options and crew leveling. The other options from that book are optional and we'll talk it over during session 0
