About the adventure

The Witchlight Carnival has returned, and with it, old memories, half-forgotten promises, and something precious that was taken from you long ago. Beyond the bright lights and cheerful music lies Prismeer, a fractured realm of the Feywild where time bends, emotions shape reality, and strange alliances are forged. To reclaim what was lost, you'll have to step into a storybook world that's on the edge of collapse. Wild Beyond the Witchlight is a roleplay-forward, character-driven adventure where clever thinking, heartfelt choices, and daring bargains can matter more than blade or spell. Combat is possible - but rarely the only solution. Expect whimsical NPCs, strange etiquette, and moral dilemmas wrapped in a fairy-tale wonder package. Every promise carries weight, and every deal has consequences.

About me

For me, roleplaying games are about shared stories. I build player-driver campaigns where players have room to shape the story through their characters, decisions, and dice rolls. Expect tactical combat, engaging roleplay, and memorable NPCs - for better or worse. My goal is to ensure my players feel seen, invested, and excited to come back each session. I emphasize player agency during my games, responding to the party's interests and play styles. I make sure to balance exciting, challenging combat with opportunities for each character to shine. Whether you're new to roleplaying games or a veteran player, I focus on creating a welcoming table where everyone feels comfortable, engaged, and invested in the adventure. If you're looking for a reliable, story-driven game that captures the classic heroic fantasy experience - heroes rising, legends forming, and rolling some dice - you'll feel right at home at my table.

Safety

How Garrett B. creates a safe table

My players' safety and fun is my number 1 priority as a DM. Safety tools are critical in creating a comfortable atmosphere for everyone at the table. We will go over safety tools in session 0 and ensure everyone is aware of how to use them throughout the game. I make sure to check in with my players before, during, and after the game. Players will also be able to privately share their lines and veils, and the X card can be played in multiple ways as a resource for the players' safety. Fostering a game where we can build community while rolling dice is critical to the success of each of my sessions.
