About the adventure
Most goblins are cannon fodder in general fantasy table top RPGs, and these goblins are no different. However, they have a dream and they are going to do their chaotic best to make that dream a reality! Goblin hijinks are to be expected, encouraged, and potentially rewarded. This game is for beginner to intermediate players, who 'know enough to be dangerous' in DnD and want to cause chaos and problems on purpose. This will carry players from 'commoner' status as far as they'd like to go. Free session zero.

About me
I’ve been playing tabletop rpgs since 2000, Dungeons and Dragons 3.5. I eventually graduated to a group that was better and more inclusive than the college group I started with, and found family and growth through gaming. In 2010 I took the plunge into DMing for the first time and I haven’t looked back.

Creating your character
You are a very basic goblin. You will have a stat block provided to you at the start of the game. After leveling to 1 (escaping the Big Goblin Festiparty), you'll choose a class in the usual way.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Please ensure you have an account on Roll20 and a good headset.
What Rhys brings to the table
I do voices, I provide cool atmospheric links and images using the roll20 tabletop interface. I prefer to use theater/re of the mind through the majority of the game, unless there is a dungeon crawling aspect. Rule of cool is a lot of fun, and most of the time if you can describe something for me and it makes sense in the situation, I'll allow it. However, I will not allow this to the extent that it makes the world seem ungrounded.
Homebrew rules
I don't track ammunition, as long as it makes logical sense. For instance, I assume that an archer would ensure that they have ample ammunition for reasonable daily use, and make efforts to recover their spent ammunition. If they are in the woods for an extended period of time, I would assume they know enough to craft rudimentary arrows with the proper checks. I don't track weight unless it's a glaring issue. A character can carry whatever they need to. If they're trying to put a wagon wheel into their pants, then we'll talk... but most of the time people aren't trying to do that. Critical hits are calculated as the maximum possible damage plus rolled damage. For example: Said archer can deal 1d8+4 damage with their bow. On a crit, they will deal 12 (as though they rolled an 8; 8+4) damage automatically, and then roll normally (1d8+4) and add that total to the 12.

How Rhys creates a safe table
I have tagged this game with microaggressions and prejudice as those are things that will be experienced by the goblin PCs in-world. It will not happen in any real-world context. In Session 0 we will discuss triggers with more detail, using other tools depending on comfort.
