About the adventure

The world was not born in peace — it was born in Hunger. Before light, before life, there was the Void. Within it stirred the Elders—beings beyond comprehension—whose first dispute split existence into Light and Darkness. From their conflict came Dominion and Wisdom, and from their rivalry came the first world: flooded, scarred, and slowly shaped into life. The Elders vanished. But they left something behind. In the cracks of creation dwell the Eldritch—Great Unknowns, perversions of reality that multiply in forgotten corners. Gods rose to guard the realms, forging wards to hold back true incursion. Yet one god stands apart. Dominion. God of War, Bloodshed, and Subjugation. Rather than rule from a throne, Dominion forged a ritual—the Eternal Forge. He divides his own divinity and casts it into mortal life, creating reincarnated Vessels born weak but destined to claw toward unimaginable power. Some are slain early. Some are harvested for relics. But when one ascends, Dominion reunites with it—rewarding allies, reviving rivals, and beginning again. Conflict is not chaos. Conflict is refinement. Then came the Last Ascension. An Eldritch continent surfaced. The Great Incursion followed. Dominion himself weakened the divine wards, forcing the world to face what it had grown complacent against. For a decade, corruption spread—livestock twisted, plants consumed the earth, artifacts of immense power littered the streets. Survival was a miracle. Peace became myth. In desperation, mortals committed the unthinkable: they sacrificed Dominion’s Vessel in a ritual called False Forging, using its divinity to repair the failing wards. Dominion allowed it—barely. But he refused reincarnation until the wards were truly restored. So the Goddess of Unity made her own sacrifice, fracturing herself into mortal form. Her Children now walk the world, reincarnating slowly, carrying fragments of a divinity that longs to be whole again. Now the wards weaken once more. And the energies of the world stir. Magic is static, precise, and rare to grow. Faith feeds on devotion, trust, and fear. Aura draws on the world itself for physical supremacy. Their unions birth greater forces: Divinity — faith made manifest. Sin — ambition sharpened beyond restraint. Pressure. Trust. Fear. Apotheosis. Power changes you. The path you walk reshapes your body, your soul, and the laws around you. The Eldritch wait beyond the veil. The Gods watch in silence. Dominion sharpens the blade again. Will you rise as a Vessel, a martyr, a monster—or something the cosmos has never seen before?

About me

I've come a long way from where I started, from a friend jokingly inviting me to play DnD from Minecraft to starting full fledged campaigns in a multiverse of my own. I've played several TTRPGs, but I've only got some experience with 5e and Silver Age Sentinels as far as DMing. I can do both text and voice games, just give me a heads up which you're interested in!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will be discussed as apart of Session 0 we'll go over some of the ideas together either in the general or DM VC of the game's discord server. Homebrew is usually allowed, I just like to hear the reasoning and at least look at it first. As long as it can somewhat make sense, I'm relatively lenient about it.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Webcams aren't needed, but they're certainly welcome and encouraged for the game. Characters will need to be created, and sheets can be made on any digital platform, but sheets made on beyond do allow me to implement my homebrew far easier. Physical dice are allowed, but I usually give it a few sessions first to get to know the party better and build the trust to allow them dice. Though if you have a dice cam , go for it right off the bat!

What Marty brings to the table

I'll have my own books that I'll be bringing to the game. My notes, homebrew, and world lore will be supplied to the players as well in various links and formats that I'm constantly working on improving. I will also have combat maps at the standby , or at least ensure I have everything ready if I need to create some on the fly.

Safety

How Marty creates a safe table

Players can expect combat to be more fast paced, using a system that a DM friend of my introduced to me. With some slight modifications to it. Aftercare will consist of talks after the games about the events of the game. Helping to decompress , de-stress , and talk about some of the situations at hand with the game. I am just the facilitator of events, at the end of the day I stand on the side of players. A 15 minute break will be taken at the 2 hour mark , allowing players to discuss amongst themselves some , as well take care of whatever bio needs! Session 0 will be our time to go over the consent sheets, as well as some character ideas and what some party goals could be. Additionally, it allows time to discuss some home-brew use and what players can be finding potentially.
