About the adventure
Ever wanted to see how a pirate adventure could be ran? Well this is the chance to test it out for yourself! While many may think that the ocean is limiting, I try and branch out with reworked monsters and lots of roleplaying in this oceanic story. In this campagin, we will be exploring the Realm of the Nine Tides (just one part of the world I created) on the pirate ship called the Poisoned Sun. Its reputation is of magics and mystery, with a crew who all have personalities of their own. Will you align more with the ships rowdy cook, Burner the Dwarf? or maybe with the experimental halfling surgeon Perci? One thing that I ask is that your character has a reason to be on the ship. Curiousity of the rumors? Passage to another port? or even hiding from someone on land? Just make sure you are ready with your reasons, because it will be asked of you. Please review the trigger warnings! Most are common for oceanic adventures, and we will have checking in periods, but I would rather you be safe! See you on the next wave in!

About me
Creating stories is my main form of entertainment! As a child, my nose was always stuck in a book and I began writing my own tales as soon as I could. I began my tabletop gaming experience at 16 with a barely holding on Warhammer Fantasy guide and a few friends. A few years later, I was playing D&D 3.5e awaiting for 4e to be released. Now I run a pirate epic tale within a homebrew world utilizing 5e mechanics with a few friends, but the world has many stores to tell. When I am not playing tabletop games, I am cuddling up with my great pyrenees and two orange cats and still reading those epic fantasy books.

Creating your character
Once you are confirmed into the adventure, you will recieve a message or email that states how to access the discord and the D&D beyond campaign. While communication will be through Discord (including a nifty little bot for rolls), I provide the 2024 D&D 5e rules through D&D beyond. Some more information: - When creating your character, use standard array. - Starting level is 2 for the sake of if you would like to multi-class. - I welcome only official D&D books for character creation. No homebrew at this time. - Do not add any special items to your person without permission from me. It will need to be backstory specific and reasonable to the party dynamic. - I do need to know what Class and Race your character is. This is for party balance in case I need to add a NPC to your party (normally this is a healer of some kind). There is not a limit but if there is 3 rangers, I might ask someone to change or add them to a different date and time of play.

With this campaign, I have a few sea shanty playlists I will be referencing on spotify. Rule of Cool is more my style, but lets not take advantage of it okay? And as stated a couple times now, discord and D&D beyond are needed and links will be sent!

How Harlow creates a safe table
With discord, I have an open door policy where if you need to share feedback about anything (triggers, gameplay, other party member concerns) I am available. I also use X, N, and O cards. It is up to you how you would like to share this information. If you want the whole party to know, then you can say it. If you just need me to know, private messages are available. I want this to be fun for everyone!!!
