Creating your character

Character creation will happen all together if able at Session 0. I'll describe how best to make a character and add my spice that I've added to make this campaign unique to each character and give them their purpose and story hook. But allow me to plant some seeds so your brain can start storming. Come in ready to create a character that has lost something and what it could be. This is mainly a light hearted campaign so try to make a character that fits that vibe. You can start dark and brooding or a brat, but the aim of the game is growth. Growth for the character and maybe even you, the player.

Preparing for the session

Make an account on DnDBeyond and one on Discord. DnDBeyond is how we'll play and make our characters. Discord will be how we call in together. And communicate out of game too.

What Jeremy Cain brings to the table

I have a DnDBeyond subscription and will be doing my content sharing, so all my books for character creation will be available for all to use, even if you don't own that book. I love ambiance music as well that just plays in the background.

Homebrew rules

You will start the game with an automatic score of 8 in one of your abilities. This will signify how you stopped growing in that way as a child. This score cannot be altered during the whole game except by me, the DM. I would love all the players to have a different score that's become stuck, but we will roll with the punches at session 0. You just come in with this thought in mind for your character.

How Jeremy Cain creates a safe table

Please come in prepared to share subjects that you absolutely do not want to encounter in the campaign and I'll make changes to it. If at anytime that changes or depending on the day, we'll also have a code word that can be said aloud or texted right to me and we'll skip or alter as needed, no questions. My table is for all who want to play.
