About the adventure
It's 1920 and the world feels like it's ending. World War One has been over for just over a year, yet the world is still reeling aftermath. Plagues sweep the lands, empires have fallen, blood continues to be spilt over lines on maps. England remains the only nation in Europe to maintain a semblance of stability. Yet in the shadows of this once glorious nation, creatures of the night panic. Important vampires are mysteriously disappearing one by one at an alarming rate. Some suspect hunters, others suspect more sinister forces are at work, yet none do anything about it. All are too busy fighting for control. In the midst of this chaos, you awaken one night in a cold sweat, suffering from a nightmare. The first nightmare you had since being embraced. ------------------------------ Carpe Noctem is going to be a beginner friendly campaign with a heavy emphasis on roleplay. Additionally, there is a potential to expand the session at player request. The campaign is a custom adventure set within the World of Darkness universe, knowledge of the universe is not required to enjoy the story as it is going to very different from existing lore. This campaign is for players who enjoy roleplay and meaningful character arcs.

About me
Greetings! My name is Marcus. I have been GMing for just over 5 years and been playing table top for a lot longer. Table top and roleplaying has been a life long passion and I am always grateful to play a game. I pride myself as a flexible GM who loves to implement my players backstories and actions into the main story itself. I focus my campaigns around the players themselves. I like to set up objectives for players to strive towards, but let the players determine how they will achieve those objectives. My favourite thing about being a GM is simply teaching new players how to play new systems. There is nothing quite like the feeling of watching the pieces click together in a new player as they finally understand how a system works. I like to run a welcoming table. LGBTQ+, people of colour, players with special need and anyone who's always been excluded will always have a spot in my table.

Creating your character
Character Creation will be done at session zero or before a session if a player joins after the session 0. Optionally, character creation can be done before session 0. Character creation will follow the standard rules for character creation in the Vampire the masquerade handbook which I will go over during session 0. I will also be more then willing to personally teach a player how to create your own characters with the system before a session if the player is interested.
