About the adventure
"Izmir; a glamorous city at the coasts of the Aegean, home to millions of friendly people that enjoy the beautiful university campuses, the eloquent cultural centers, elite museums, crazy night-life activities, the splendid sea - every day an adventure, every day a new, beautiful horizon. Oblivious, blissfully ignorant sheep, ours for the taking. Look down, my childer; drink in the sight of their ignorance. They are waiting for you - they don't know this yet, none of them do, but when in the borders of my domain, all these mortals are yours for the taking. Yours and mine. When you are ready, go down there; mingle, empathize, bully, seduce - do whatever it is that gives you the thrill of the hunt, that rush of excitement that allows you to get the best taste out of them, and then, grant them the bliss of your Kiss. Their blood is yours, my progeny; take as much as you desire, satisfy thine Hunger to your undead heart's content - but without killing them. Your humanity is now a steep height that you can only fall from, and if you fall too far, you may never get back up. Keep hold of it, be true to yourselves, and most importantly remember this: Don't. Get. Caught." Vampire: The Masquerade - Izmir By Night is a story about neonates trying to come to grips with their new monstrous nature in the Pearl of the Aegean, Izmir. A street-level political story, Izmir has a venue available for every Kindred to feed, and this has become even more of a reality with more elders having been Beckoned, but only the smartest amongst them who follow the rigid Traditions of the Camarilla can survive the night to reap the rewards. A story of personal horror, intrigue, love, betrayal and blood is at the center of our Chronicle. Will you hold tight to your Humanity in your struggle for survival, or will you enjoy the thrill of the hunt, and claim the night for yourself? The city awaits your answer.

About me
Hello! Nice meeting you! I am a writer, translator, a storyteller and a budding content creator. I have been into tabletop games for three years and have been running games professionally for about the same time. I'm pretty experienced when it comes to World of Darkness games, especially Vampire: The Masquerade, Hunter: The Reckoning and Werewolf: The Apocalypse, having run multiple games in these splats. In terms of D&D, it has been always a passion that I followed through one-shots and friend games, but I decided it was finally time to delve into the community and start running longer games. I'm well-versed in the system, and I dabbled in different settings within the multiverse. As a GM I'm generally a rule of cool guy who does his best to stick by the book for the most part, but I'll never stifle your fun - especially if you are about to do something absolutely rad. I'm your characters' #1 fan when you are at the table. If you have any questions before signing up to any one of my games, I'm always active on the website and would be more than happy to answer them! I hope you can find a game that you can enjoy on my profile. Looking forward to meeting you!

Creating your character
We will go through character and coterie creation together as a group during Session 0; where we will create a relationship map to define how each character knows each other, who else they know in their private lives, which part of Venice they control and in what manner. You can write me a brief, informative text about your character concept, and tell me what types of story beats you are hoping to hit with the said concept. If you are unfamiliar with Vampire or a beginner, fear not; we can brainstorm together to create a memorable character that you will all enjoy witnessing their developments.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
🎤 A decent microphone is a must. 📷 Cameras are optional, but highly encouraged, as I believe seeing each other enhances our roleplay. 🔊A Discord account (free to register). 🎲 Roll20 account (for the table and dice rolls. Also free to register). 📄 Detailed but brief backstory (1 to 3 pages should suffice). 🎓 Beginners are welcome; I will explain the rules and the system as we play, should need be.

How Onur Temel creates a safe table
We will hold a Session 0 to go over all the content warnings, as well as all of the possible Lines and Veils with a detailed Consent Form you can fill, in order to create a safe, welcoming table. Everything is changeable and negotiable; they will all be discussed and taken out of the game accordingly if any one of those stated below make you feel uncomfortable. I will send a consent form where you can write down any potential topics that you may be uncomfortable with. Should we get too close to a line, you can always immediately ask for a pause - out loud or via text message, whatever feels comfortable for you - and we will stop playing. We will also use Session 0 to establish the boundaries between the players, as well as the relationship of their characters and of course, decide on what kind of a story we want to tell in the World of Darkness. Before the start and after the end of every session we'll spend about 15 minutes at least to chat, talk about any potential issues, to go over what happened in the story to identify Bleed and to help you cope with it and leave it behind at the table!
