Many of the brightest minds among all worlds gather at Strixhaven to pass down the knowledge that they possess and the life found at this school is eccentric and beyond belief. So you enroll at this prestigious school for your first year, to learn all that your elders may pass down upon you. You might just find you’ll need that knowledge to uncover mysterious events that take place in the shadows of the night. Of course, you also have exams, extracurriculars and jobs that need to be done as well. About me
Howdy there! My name is Zane, and I’ve been DMing for about 3 years straight at this point and I want to expand the way I do TTRPGs. While I have primarily DM’d for D&D 5E, I’m looking to branch out with other systems so if you’re afraid of trying something out, we can learn it together. I love to shape the world that my players experience around them, be that through integrating the stories you’ve created for those characters or by just going with the flow and seeing what you guys have planned for yourselves. I typically run homebrew campaigns in various different settings, so if you don’t see something you like right away then wait bit and you might just find it here!

Creating your character
⚫️ - Characters will start at level 1 with stats rolled with 4d6 dropping the lowest. You will have the opportunity to do this twice and pick from the set you prefer. 🔵 - All official races and subclasses are allowed for this campaign. Subclasses from the Tal’Dorei Reborn book are also available for use. All races may also swap their innate Ability Score Increase for an increase of +2 to one stat and +1 to a different one. The 2024 versions of classes can be used, or you can use the 2014 versions. 🔴 - All basic items and weapons will come from your background. There will be one magical item each character will receive based on their background.

Preparing for the session
🔴 - Players should join the Discord DND Beyond campaign provided in the prep notes. 🔵 - Having a basic idea of the rules will make sessions go smoother, but advanced knowledge is not required.
What Zane Chapman brings to the table
🔴 - I will be providing battle maps for combat and skill based encounters for necessary moments. Theatre of the mind may be required in some instances. 🔵 - I will be providing music through a Discord bot during the session. ⚫️ - A Discord server where you will be able to discuss aspects of the campaign during the week before sessions, as well as channels to privately discuss aspects of your character with me.
