About the adventure
When a concerning disease hits your island, school is canceled, and you are taken away to a new land and new school so you can finish your education. The graduation process there is very strange, and it soon appears you might not be as safe from the plague as everyone thought… What to do? – face foes in a magical tournament; explore the castle and its surroundings; learn new forms of magic in foreign lands; join one of three houses, Valeroz, Calcunaow, or Geisthauch to participate in house activities; and dare to dwell on the secrets that your school could have brought here. 🌎 What a wonderful world! Hidden away from the world of mere mortals, and literally sunken by magical forces, lies The Gash. Why all the magical creatures and arcane-aligned people were swallowed whole, and thrown here is for no one to know, but there’s little complaint. After all, being separated from those witch hunters was best for all involved. Humans and creatures coexist happily, most of the time, even those more inclined to tricks less-than-harmless pranks, and such unkind predilections. By all standards of measure, The Gash is a place full of wonder and peace, but something nefarious boils beneath the surface. 🧚 We wish you the best of luck in your final year, given the circumstances… You are students, freshly or close to 18, ready to begin your graduation year! Oh, how exciting, final year classes! You wait, but they never come. No ward-fencing, no spellcraft, no herbology, alchemy or even fae diplomacy classes whatsoever! School? canceled by The Magi council. Adults? Handling an unprecedented crisis. The Fae? Sick, losing their magic, and their contract-drafting abilities! Soon, even the wizards started to feel it. The whole island grinded to a halt, but sent away, the students are free. Bright side? This ends in a free exchange student program overseas! To the land of the Triarchy! 🏫🎓 A new school… What a different graduation year… Welcome to the Mystic Summit! Congratulations on your entry to The Triarchy’s Institute of Magical Arts, we hope you enjoy your stay! The final year here is entirely comprised of a group project, participation in the Mystic Summit is compulsory, and 80% of the grade. Apply all that you know: face champions, creatures of magic (that lend themselves for spectacle) and other wizards in brave duels, race them with your brooms or ward-fence, using your blade to cast offensive and defensive spells up close! ⚠️Containment failure? Despite your escape, it’s very soon that symptoms in the forest creatures and fair folk around the school become cause for concern. Wasn’t this an isolate case? All students were cleared of the sickness… Have the Magi failed in containing magical phenomena for the first time in 500 years, or... is there something sinister going on?

About me
I'm a 23 year old player that's been playing for over half their lifetime! I started playing when I was 10 years old back when my father designed a simple TTRPG system for me to enjoy and spend time together. Ever since, I fell in love with the hobby and introduced many players into homebrew systems and even got them to read and play actual systems after several years of gaming. I focus heavily on informed improvisation and adjusting to my player's wishes, as well as introducing them into the narrative both by their backstory or the future events being related to themes and character arcs. I used to dislike D&D but after having an actually good experience (which took a while, since I had several poor ones before) I started to DM for the most popular system and learnt how to love it. We're definitely in a toxic relationship.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen via Discord previous to the campaign, as will the homebrew rule explanations. A minimum knowledge of the system is highly appreciated. -NO AI IMAGES OR ARTWORK
What to expect
Preparing for the session
-Watch or read whichever magical school/college series you'd like. -Have a Discord account. -Do NOT use AI -Think about a character that would be entertaining to play in a school setting! This is a very lighthearted campaign and it runs on magical clichés as well, so think in the archetypes laid out in the book and work with something you think you'll enjoy!
What Bruno Martín brings to the table
I will give you: °Unforgettable NPCs you can build true relationships with! °A deep world, allowing progressively more and more freedom with each session until a complete sandbox opens up! °Exhilarating fun tournament games and crazy magical sport action! °A unique take on narrative, magical combat for spectacular spell-slinging! I do character voices and heavily utilize ambient AND character music for epic moments. I embrace the Rule of Cool when players are clever and cunning to solve issues with outside the box thinking, but rarely appreciate players that try to outsmart and cheat the mechanics into powercreep! This particular campaign will be light and mostly slice-of-life with a plotline brewing on the background for some time before the players are meant to interact, combat IS going to happen, but there's many ways to fight without harm! Since light and breezy is the tone, expect very little chance for character death!
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules for Magical/Legendary Items; a proper combat system; adapting the rules to play older characters as a standard rather than a variant our outlier.

Safety
How Bruno Martín creates a safe table
Player comfort and safety are top priorities at my table. This game contains some aspects of the experiences had during COVID-19 or other healthcare crises, beyond that, most the possibilities of violence are light and would be considered within the realm of PG-13 or less. There’s no body horror, no gore or major themes of death. Beware the presence of spirits and ghosts (the fun, nice kind, not possession or hauntings!) Getting deep into character’s backstories and fears could be something that happens, so that is to be discussed prior. I like engaging backstory and challenging player’s reactions to events in the past coming back to the present. We will discuss Lines and Veils privately with each player, and we will use a private-message based X-card through discord chat! We’re here to have fun and enjoy a light and magical experience!
