About the adventure
As Waterdeep still stands proud and whole, long before the world is broken by the Spellplague as history remembers it, troubling whispers begin to circulate. Creatures are appearing along the outskirts of the City of Splendors—twisted things of warped magic, wrong in ways scholars cannot explain. Blue fire scars the land. Time stutters. Spells behave as if reality itself has forgotten the rules. And this is happening one hundred and twenty years too early. In a crowded tavern near the Dock Ward, flyers change hands quietly. No grand proclamations. No public panic. Just a name, passed from mouth to mouth among those who know how to listen. Freya. A mage and researcher, sharp-eyed and relentless, Freya once studied beneath the Blackstaff of her time. Now she seeks brave adventurers willing to help her investigate the impossible: early manifestations of Spellplague-touched beings, appearing where they should not, when they should not exist at all. What she fears is not merely an outbreak of corrupted magic—but a fracture in time itself. Something is bleeding through. What begins as a seemingly contained investigation near Waterdeep quickly unravels into a journey across warped timelines, unstable magic, and truths that history itself may be trying to bury. Events do not always follow cause. Choices echo backward as well as forward. Some consequences arrive before the actions that spawned them. If you… 🔮 Are drawn to unravel mysteries born of broken magic and temporal paradoxes, where understanding the truth may demand terrible sacrifices. ⚔️ Wish to face Spellplague-twisted abominations, cultists, scholars, and beings that should not yet exist—or should no longer exist at all. 💔 Crave a story where hope clashes with inevitability, where saving the world may mean ensuring a tragedy still comes to pass. 🎭 Want a deeply immersive, roleplay-driven experience where your character’s beliefs, fears, and moral limits are tested by a world that refuses to behave as it should. Then step forward. Because history is unraveling. And someone—or something—is trying to rewrite it. When I designed this campaign, my goal was to create an experience where players would lose themselves in their characters, questioning not only what was right, but when it was right. After running it once, I can confidently say it succeeded. This is a full sandbox campaign, allowing players to move freely between Waterdeep and its surrounding regions, chasing leads, uncovering hidden truths, and piecing together a mystery that spans decades—and timelines. The party is expected to be fundamentally good (chaotic or otherwise). Compassion, curiosity, and moral conviction will open doors that violence cannot. Sessions are roleplay-heavy, with player choice driving the story forward. Combat exists, but it is never the only answer. Conflicts can be avoided, resolved through diplomacy, investigation, or clever manipulation of the strange temporal forces at play. The campaign

About me
I'm a simple italian girl, who loves to play and enjoy her time going inside a fantasy world where magic and dragons live. I learned english just so i could play with more people and not have language barrier in the between. I love roleplay, and i love even more when we get so deep into it that we forget we are in a real world for those 3 to 5 hours.

Creating your character
The creation of the character will be done in discord, before the first session. Stats will be done by point buy, with some changes. The minimum for a stat is 6, and the max is 16. We'll be using Tasha's rules, where species won't have their stats locked. X - I do accept everything that is official, except artificer. I had several bad experiences with people who played that class and I do believe I won't be able to give you a full enjoyful experience. We'll be using 2014 rules
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We’ll play on Discord and use Roll20 as our tabletop. Most of the game will be theater of the mind, with Roll20 used only for dice rolls. There will be some battle map and being able to move, but they will be rather simple.
What Daliborka (Dali) brings to the table
As DM I will provide music, voice and emotions. I'll give you a story to unfold and change, where at the end you'll be the hero. Expect to get attached to NPCs, to hate others (like, really hate. I've been told I'm pretty good at that) and to spent hours thinking about how to solve a such dense story.
Homebrew rules
You'll be able to drink potions as Bonus Action, and feeding others as action. When you fall to 0 HP, you will not be unconscious but just unable to move. That way, even if you get back to 1 hp, you'll be back on track with everyone else!

Safety
How Daliborka (Dali) creates a safe table
Lines and Veils will be discussed during session 0, and written down at the end on the discord if needed. After a difficult moment, we'll have always 5 to 10 minutes break, before resuming. I do want my players comfort and safety. After a session ends, as DM I'll be available to listen to theories or questions for 1 more hour. Same as giving a comforting place to vent if the session was peculiarly hard on you.
