About the adventure

Under raging storm clouds, the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft rise high above the valley below. The towering structure, highlighted only by the occasional flash of lightning, casts a large shadow over the land of Barovia. Count Strahd von Zarovich watches the mists bordering his domain, waiting for the few chosen to finally arrive to their final destination. You unsuspecting chosen have traveled together in search of something. Whether for fame or fortune, for knowledge or revenge, for love or power, you have come together to brave the unknown, but nothing can prepare you for what is to come. Can you brave the horror that Barovia holds for you? Or will your name only exist for the Count to forget it? This game will focus on the horror elements of Curse of Strahd, with your characters contributing to the story of the Dread Domain!

About me

Howdy, I'm Monkicci! I've been GMing for a variety of TTRPGs (Cyberpunk Red, D&D 5e, Cyberpunk 2020, Daggerheart, Battletech) for a around 1 1/2 years now, and I love it so much. From juicy dramas of heroes and villains to intense battles between powerful forces, I thoroughly enjoy orchestrating all of it and working with each individual to make them feel important in both story and combat! I first got into TTRPGs after playing Cyberpunk 2077 and wanting more, leading me to Cyberpunk Red. I would run sessions all by my lonesome before eventually joining and running my own games online in 2023. With the video game to tabletop path routed in my brain, I decided to play Baldur's Gate 3 in 2024, and that sent me straight to D&D 5e, where it took me a few months to learn the rules as a player before starting to GM using this different system. Nowadays, I have just as much fun (if not more) running a game as I do playing in one.
